Abstract

We present recent phenomenological studies, tailored on kinematic configurations typical of current and forthcoming analyses at the LHC, for two novel probe channels of the BFKL resummation of energy logarithms. Particular attention is drawn to the behavior of distributions differential in azimuthal angle and rapidity, where significant high-energy effects are expected.

Report

This presents a clear and concise summary of the authors' interesting and novel study. It is certainly suitable for publication. There are a few small typographical suggestions below.

Requested changes

1) The grammar in the first sentence of the introduction needs modification. Possibly 'this' -> 'thus'?

2) The grammar in the first sentence of Section 2 needs modification. Possibly just starting with 'We present...'?

3) It seems that the variables are not completely consistent in (2,3) and the discussion. There are kappas in (2) and k's in (3) which I believe are both transverse momenta variables. It would be good to unify this.

  • validity: good
  • significance: good
  • originality: good
  • clarity: good
  • formatting: good
  • grammar: good
