We demonstrate that the pair-correlation function of Bose-Einstein condensed atoms, which are confined in a quasi-one-dimensional toroidal/annular potential, realizes a quantum time crystal in the ground state of the system. We study this observable, assuming weak repulsive interatomic interactions and a finite number of atoms.
