In an attempt to gain a better understanding of the fractional quantum Hall fluid in the low temperature limit, where all the effective dynamics are described by the algebra of projected density operators, certain Casimir operators of the aforementioned algebra are computed. Additionally, a method for generating exact energy eigenfunctions for non-interacting charged anyons in a uniform perpendicular magnetic field, which effectively describe the quasi-particle excitations of the fractional quantum Hall fluid, is constructed.
