Abstract

A brief overview of properties of the model of quantized fragmentation of a helical QCD string is followed by the discussion of colour reconnection models and of the ways to reproduce the evolution of the average transverse momentum in hadronic events, as a function of charged particle multiplicity. Reference to recent experimental data is included.

1) The paper presents an interesting and novel idea.

Report

The author suggests an interesting, novel, idea of quantized fragmentation model based on helical QCD strings to replace color reconnection models and further argues for the need for the replacement using like sign vs. opposite sign hadron pairs normalized to the number of charged particles as a test observable. I recommend publication.
