Abstract
In order to obtain the mass of tau lepton at BESIII precisely, a beam energy measurement system was built at BEPCII. A scenario for high precision tau mass measurement was put forth before data taken. More than 130 pb^{-1} tau scan data were collected in April 2018, and the uncertainty of mass of tau lepton is expected to be less than 100 keV.

Reports on this Submission
Report #1 by Nicolo De Groot (Referee 1) on 2018-12-10 (Invited Report)
Strengths
1- The tau mass is an important parameter of the SM and a more precise measurement of its mass is very valuable 2- The described measurement is solid
Weaknesses
1- language, many typos and phrases that miss a word.
Report
This is a fine paper from the tau conference about an important measurement. The only thing needed is to correct some of the language.
Requested changes
1 - please correct the English. The typos/language corrections are indicated in the annotated PDF
