Abstract
We show how Newton-Cartan geometry can be generalized to String Newton-Cartan geometry which is the geometry underlying non-relativistic string theory. Several salient properties of non-relativistic string theory in this geometric background are presented and a discussion of possible research for the future is outlined.

Strengths
1. good introduction and motivation of the subject of non-relativistic string theory
2. succinct introduction of Newton-Cartan geometry and stringy Newton-Cartan (SNC) geometry
3. pedagogical derivation of the non-relativistic particle action as background for presenting the action of non-relativistic string in a SNC background
4. nice expose of open research avenues
Weaknesses
none
