• Masses of vector and pseudovector hybrid mesons in a chiral symmetric model

  We enlarge the chiral model, the so-called extended Linear Sigma Model (eLSM), by including the low-lying hybrid nonet with exotic quantum numbers $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ and the nonet of their chiral partners with $J^{PC}=1^{+-}$ to a global $U(3)_r \times U(3)_l$ chiral symmetry. We use the assignment of the $\pi_1^{hyb}= \pi_1(1600)$ as input to determine the unknown parameters. Then, we compute the lightest vector and pseudovector hybrid masses that could guide ongoing and upcoming experiments in searching for hybrids.

• Master integrals contributing to two-loop leading colour QCD helicity amplitudes for top-quark pair production in the gluon fusion channel

  We discuss the analytic structure of the master integrals relevant for computing the com- plete set of leading-colour analytic helicity amplitudes for top-quark pair production via gluon fusion at two loops in QCD. This includes corrections due to massive fermion loops which give rise to integrals involving elliptic curves. We also elaborate on the structure of singularities that play an important role in the numerical evaluation of the iterated integrals and their analytic continuation.

• NLO inclusive $J/ψ$ photoproduction at large $P_T$ at HERA and the EIC

  We study inclusive $J/\psi$ photoproduction at NLO at large $P_T$ at HERA and the EIC. Our computation includes NLO QCD leading-$P_T$ corrections, QED contributions via an off-shell photon as well as those from $J/\psi$+charm channels. For the latter, we employ the variable-flavour-number scheme. Our results are found to agree with the latest HERA data by H1 and provide, for the first time, a reliable estimate of the EIC reach for such a measurement. Finally, we demonstrate the observability of $J/\psi$+charm production and the sensitivy to probe the non-perturbative charm content of the proton at high $x$, also known as intrinsic charm, at the EIC.

• Proton penetration efficiency over a high altitude observatory in Mexico

  In association with a large solar flare on November 7, 2004, the solar neutron detectors located at Mt. Chacaltaya (5,250 m) in Bolivia and Mt. Sierra Negra (4,600 m) in Mexico recorded very interesting events. In order to explain these events, we have performed a calculation solving the equation of motion of anti-protons inside the magnetosphere. Based on these results, the Mt. Chacaltaya event may be explained by the detection of solar neutrons, while the Mt. Sierra Negra event may be explained by the first detection of very high energy solar neutron decay protons (SNDPs) around 6 GeV.

• Recent results from the long-baseline (LBL) neutrino oscillation experiments

  The results from the current long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments are reviewed. These experiments are designed to measure the remaining unknown neutrino oscillation parameters via the oscillation of accelerator neutrinos over long distances. The performance of these experiments and their results are described and discussed, giving a precise picture of the current status of the measurements for the neutrino mass ordering, the value of ∆m 232 , the θ 23 and the lepton CP-violating phase, δ CP .

• Recent progress on the study of nucleon structure from lattice QCD and future perspectives

  We review the progress achieved within the last five years in the simulations of lattice QCD, as well as in the analysis for selected quantities probing nucleon structure. In particular, we discuss results on the nucleon electromagnetic form factors, $\sigma$-terms, the momentum fraction carried b quark in the nucleon and the helicity and transversity. All quantities are obtained using simulations generated with quark masses fixed to their physical values. In addition, we review the on-going effort to extract parton distribution functions (PDFs) directly from lattice QCD using the quasi-PDFs approach.

• Generalized parton distribution functions of $\rho$ meson

  We report our recent calculations for the generalized parton distribution functions of the $\rho$ meson with the help of a light-front constituent quark model. The electromagnetic form factors and structure functions of the system are given. Moreover, we also show our results for its gravitational form factors (or energy-momentum tensor form factors) and for other mechanical properties, like its mass distributions, pressures, share-forces, and $D-$term.

• Next generation proton PDFs with deuteron and nuclear uncertainties

  As data become more precise, estimating theoretical uncertainties in global PDF determinations is likely to become increasingly necessary to obtain correspondingly precise PDFs. Here we present a next generation of global proton PDFs (NNPDF4.0) that include theoretical uncertainties due to the use of heavy nuclear and deuteron data in the fit. We estimate these uncertainties by comparing the values of the nuclear observables computed with the nuclear PDFs against those computed with proton PDFs. For heavy nuclear PDFs we use the nuclear nNNPDF2.0 set, while for deuteron PDFs we develop an iterative procedure to determine proton and deuteron PDFs simultaneously, each including the uncertainties in the other. Accounting for nuclear uncertainties resolves some of the tensions in the global fit of the proton PDFs, especially those between the nuclear data and the extended LHC data set used in NNPDF4.0.

• NLO electroweak and QCD corrections to off-shell ttW production at the LHC

  The foreseen luminosities for the next LHC runs will enable precise differential measurements of the associated production of top-antitop pairs with a W boson. Therefore, providing accurate theory predictions for this process is needed for realistic final states. We present the first combination of NLO electroweak and QCD corrections to off-shell ttW$^+$ production in the three-charged-lepton channel, including non-resonant effects, full spin-correlations and interferences. Such radiative corrections comprise the electroweak and QCD corrections to the leading QCD order, and the QCD corrections to the leading electroweak order.
