Description
The LHC Higgs Working Group (LHCHWG) provides recommendations on theoretical predictions and methodologies on Higgs boson(s) studies to the experiments for both current and planned LHC runs. The group is organised into four working groups:
- WG1: Higgs cross-sections and branching ratios
- WG2: Higgs properties
- WG3: BSM Higgs
- WG4: HH and multi-Higgs
Four "CERN Yellow Reports" have been completed by the group:
- "Inclusive Observables” (CERN-2011- 002)
- "Differential Distributions” (CERN-2012-002)
- "Higgs Properties” (CERN-2013-004)
- "Deciphering the Nature of the Higgs Sector” (CERN-2017-002)
These achievements facilitated the comparison and combination of Higgs results at LHC since the beginning of the LHC physics programme. Subsequent reports are to be published in SciPost Physics Community reports, in the series “LHC Higgs Working Group Reports”.

Authoring information
Please prepare your community report following the authoring instructions for SciPost Physics Community Reports, which you will find at this link.
Upon submission, mention should be made that the manuscript is destined for the LHC Higgs Working Group Reports Series. If the paper is first put on arXiv, then the Comments field should mention Submitted to SciPost Physics Community Reports, LHC Higgs Working Group Reports Series.
Editorial process
The editorial processing of submissions will follow the general procedures standardly used at SciPost.
Reviewing
To ensure the highest possible quality of the published community reports, submissions should be thoroughly reviewed. This is achieved through our open peer-witnessed refereeing protocol (see description) which relies on both invited and contributed reports.
Publication
Publication of the community reports will take place on an individual basis, as soon as a particular submission's editorial process has been completed. Each individual paper will appear in SciPost Physics Community Reports and receive its own DOI.
