• Highlights from the Telescope Array Experiment

  The Telescope Array (TA) is the largest hybrid cosmic ray detector in the Northern Hemisphere, which observes primary particles in the energy range from 2 PeV to 100 EeV. The main TA detector consists of 507 plastic scintillation counters on a 1.2-km spacing square grid and fluorescence detectors at three stations overlooking the sky above the surface detector array. The TA Low energy Extension (TALE) detector, which consists of ten fluorescence telescopes, and 80 infill surface detectors with 400m and 600 m spacing, has continued to provide stable observations since its construction completion in 2018. The TAx4, a plan to quadruple the detection area of TA is also ongoing. About half of the planned surface detectors have been deployed, and the current TAx4 continues to operate stably as a hybrid detector. I review the present status of the TA experiment and the recent results on the cosmic-ray anisotropy, mass composition and energy spectrum.

• Description of continuum structures in a discrete basis: Three-body resonances and two-nucleon decays

  Weakly bound and unbound three-body nuclei are studied by using the pseudostate method within the hyperspherical formalism. After introducing the theoretical framework, the method is applied first to the $\boldsymbol{^9}$Be nucleus, showing a good agreement with the available data for its low-lying dipole response. Then, recent results on the structure and decay of the two-neutron emitters $\boldsymbol{^{26}}$O and $\boldsymbol{^{16}}$Be are presented. In particular, the role of the $\boldsymbol{n}$-$\boldsymbol{n}$ correlation in shaping their properties is discussed.

• Classical boundary field theory of Jacobi sigma models by Poissonization

  In this paper, we are going to construct the classical field theory on the boundary of the embedding of $\mathbb{R} \times S^{1}$ into the manifold $M$ by the Jacobi sigma model. By applying the poissonization procedure and by generalizing the known method for Poisson sigma models, we express the fields of the model as perturbative expansions in terms of the reduced phase space of the boundary. We calculate these fields up to the second order and illustrate the procedure for contact manifolds.

  The corrected dependence of the mean depth of the EAS maximum $X_{max}$ on the energy was obtained from the data of the Tunka-133 array for 7 years and the TAIGA-HiSCORE array for 2 years. The parameter $\langle\ln A\rangle$, characterizing the mean mass compositon was derived from these results. The differential energy spectrum of primary cosmic rays in the energy range of $2\cdot 10^{14}$ – $2\cdot 10^{16}$ eV was reconstructed using the new parameter $Q_{100}$ the Cherenkov light flux at the core distance 100 m. Change of the parameter for the energy reconstuction for the TAIGA-HiSCORE from $Q_{200}$ to $Q_{100}$ provides a decreasing energy threshold for the spectrum to about 200 TeV.

• Superradiant instability and black resonators in AdS

  Rapidly rotating Myers-Perry-AdS black holes are unstable against rotational superradiance. From the onset of the instability, cohomogeneity-1 black resonators are constructed in five-dimensional asymptotically AdS space. By using the cohomogeneity-1 metric, perturbations of the cohomogeneity-1 black resonators are also studied.

• Azimuthal correlations in diffractive scattering at the Electron-Ion Collider

  We calculate azimuthal correlations between the exclusively produced vector meson and the scattered electron in Deep Inelastic Scattering processes at the future Electron-Ion Collider (EIC). We identify "kinematical" and "intrinsic" contributions to these correlations, and show that the correlations are sensitive to the non-trivial correlations in the gluon distribution of the target. Realistic predictions at the EIC kinematics are provided using two different approaches to describe the dipole-proton interaction at relatively small $x$.

• Looking forward to forward physics at the CERN's LHC

  For decades, new physics searches in collider experiments have focused on the high-$p_T$ region. However, it has recently become evident that the LHC physics potential has not been fully exploited. To be specific, forward collisions, which produce particles along the beamline with enormous rates, have been almost completely ignored. For all practical purposes, these collisions are a treasure trove of physics, containing the highest-energy neutrinos ever produced by humans, as well as possible evidence for dark matter, light and weakly-coupled particles, and new forces. In the upcoming LHC Run 3 the ForwArd Search ExpeRiment (FASER) and its cousin FASER$\nu$ will extend the LHC's physics potential. A continuation of this forward physics program for the HL-LHC aims at the Forward Physics Facility (FPF), with larger scale experiments. In this report, I give an overview of the physics motivations for FASER, FASER$\nu$, and the FPF experiments, including both Standard Model and beyond Standard Model physics.

• The SINDRUM-I Experiment

  SINDRUM-I was the first nearly 4 spectrometer at SIN. It was initially designed to 9 search for the forbidden decay + ! e+e􀀀e+ , but also successfully studied various 10 other processes with high precision. The upper limit obtained for the branching ratio of B!3e = 􀀀 (+ ! e+e􀀀e+ )=􀀀 (+ ! e+e¯ 11  ) < 1.0  10􀀀12(90% CL) from 1988 is still the best. The first statistically significant observation of the rare decay + ! e+e􀀀e+e¯ 12  , achieved in 1985, yielded a branching ratio of B13 !3e2 = (3.40.20.2)10􀀀5. Several 14 othermeasurements of rare decays were undertaken: the first observation of the -decay 15 + !e+ee􀀀e+ resulted in 􀀀 (+ !e+ee􀀀e+ )=􀀀 (+ !+ ) = (3.2  0.5  0.2)  10􀀀9, 16 also still the best measurement; and a determination of the ratio of the weak axial- to 17 vector-form factor FA=FV = (0.7  0.5), resolving an ambiguity. In addition, upper limits 18 for + ! e+ and + ! e+e with subsequent decay ! e+e􀀀 (search for "massless" Goldstone bosons) and 0 !e+e􀀀 19 < 1.3  10􀀀7 were obtained.

• Double-J/ψ system in the spotlight of recent LHCb data

  Recently the LHCb Collaboration announced intriguing results on the double-$J/\psi$ production in proton-proton collisions. A coupled-channel interpretation of the measured di-$J/\psi$ spectrum is presented and a possible nature of the proposed near-threshold state $X(6200)$ is discussed.

• The photon content of the proton in the CT18 global analysis

  Recently, two photon PDF sets based on implementations of the LUX ansatz into the CT18 global analysis were released. In CT18lux, the photon PDF is calculated directly using the LUX master formula for all scales, $\mu$. In an alternative realization, CT18qed, the photon PDF is initialized at the starting scale, $\mu_0$, using the LUX formulation and evolved to higher scales $\mu(>\mu_0)$ with a combined QED+QCD kernel at $\mathcal{O}(\alpha),~\mathcal{O}(\alpha\alpha_s)$ and $\mathcal{O}(\alpha^2)$. In the small-$x$ region, the photon PDF uncertainty is mainly induced by the quark and gluon PDFs, through the perturbative DIS structure functions. In comparison, the large-$x$ photon uncertainty comes from various low-energy, nonperturbative contributions, including variations of the inelastic structure functions in the resonance and continuum regions, higher-twist and target-mass corrections, and elastic electromagnetic form factors of the proton. We take the production of doubly-charged Higgs pairs, $(H^{++}H^{--})$, as an example of scenarios beyond the Standard Model to illustrate the phenomenological implications of these photon PDFs at the LHC.
