• Prompt hadroproduction of C-even quarkonia in the light-front $k_T$ -factorization approach

  We present a new approach for the prompt production of quarkonia which is based on the $k_T$-factorization method. The production of even C-parity quarkonia proceeds via the fusion of two (off-shell) gluons. Especially in the kinematics of the LHCb experiment these processes are thus expected to be a sensitive probe of the small-x gluon distribution. We calculate the relevant off-shell matrix elements in terms of the light-front wave functions of the quarkonium states. We present our results for scalar and pseudoscalar charmonia and discuss photon transition form factors as well as cross sections for prompt hadroproduction. We compare our results for the $\eta_c$ to recent LHCb data.

• Drell-Yan $p_{\bot}$ with NLO-matched Parton Branching TMDs at energies from fixed-target to LHC

  The description of the Drell-Yan (DY) transverse momentum spectrum requires matching of fixed order QCD calculations with soft gluon resummation up to all orders in the QCD coupling. It has been noticed in the literature that a consistent description of DY data in a wide kinematic regime from fixed-target to LHC energies is problematic. In this talk the predictions for transverse momentum spectrum of DY data coming from experiments in very different kinematic ranges (NuSea, R209, Phenix, LHC 8 TeV and 13 TeV center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$) are calculated by applying transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distributions obtained from the Parton Branching (PB) method, combined with the next-to-leading-order (NLO) calculation of the hard process in the MCatNLO method. We discuss the problems involved in matching of the fixed order calculation and resummation, especially in the moderate to low mass and $p_{\bot}$ region accessible at fixed target experiments. We find that at low DY mass and low $\sqrt{s}$ even in the region of $p_{\bot}/m_{DY}\sim 1$ the contribution of multiple soft gluon emissions (included in the PB-TMDs) is essential to describe the measurements, while at larger masses and LHC energies the contribution from soft gluons in the region of $p_{\bot}/m_{DY}\sim 1$ is small.

• Quark Sivers Function at Small-$x$: Leading contribution from the Spin-Dependent Odderon

  We present the calculation of the leading contribution to the quark Sivers function at small-Bjorken $x$. This calculation uses the high energy scattering approximation and operator formalism developed by Kovchegov and Sievert to obtain a dominant contribution to the quark Sivers function coming from the spin-dependent odderon, in agreement with the results of Dong, Zhen, and Zhou. We then calculate this dominant contribution in the diquark model of the proton to obtain a small-$x$ estimate for the Sivers function.

• Next generation proton PDFs with deuteron and nuclear uncertainties

  As data become more precise, estimating theoretical uncertainties in global PDF determinations is likely to become increasingly necessary to obtain correspondingly precise PDFs. Here we present a next generation of global proton PDFs (NNPDF4.0) that include theoretical uncertainties due to the use of heavy nuclear and deuteron data in the fit. We estimate these uncertainties by comparing the values of the nuclear observables computed with the nuclear PDFs against those computed with proton PDFs. For heavy nuclear PDFs we use the nuclear nNNPDF2.0 set, while for deuteron PDFs we develop an iterative procedure to determine proton and deuteron PDFs simultaneously, each including the uncertainties in the other. Accounting for nuclear uncertainties resolves some of the tensions in the global fit of the proton PDFs, especially those between the nuclear data and the extended LHC data set used in NNPDF4.0.

• Sea Asymmetry from Polarized W Boson Production

  We present the results of a global QCD analysis of helicity parton distribution functions (PDFs) that includes the latest polarized W-lepton production data from the STAR collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC). This data allows the first extraction of a nonzero helicity light-quark sea asymmetry within a simultaneous global QCD analysis of unpolarized and helicity PDFs.

  We present results with soft-gluon resummation for the associated production of a single top quark and a Higgs boson. We present analytical results for the higher-order soft-gluon corrections and numerical results for the total cross section and top-quark transverse momentum and rapidity distributions at LHC energies.

• Dijet production at EIC and interplay of Sudakov and saturation effects in Weizsacker-Williams TMD gluon distribution

  We study production of dijets at the EIC using the small-x Improved Transverse Momentum Dependent factorization (ITMD), which is a framework based on the Color Glass Condensate theory. Dijet production in DIS is the simplest process directly coupled to the Weizsacker-Williams TMD gluon distribution, which is the only small-x gluon distribution possessing the gluon number density interpretation. We study various observables sensitive to the interplay of the Sudakov effects and the nonlinear effects, in particular the azimuthal correlations between the jet system and the scattered electron.

• The MSHT20 Parton Distribution Functions

  We present the new MSHT20 set of parton distribution functions (PDFs) of the proton, determined from a global analysis of the available hard scattering data and superseding the MMHT14 sets. The parameterisation is now adapted and extended and we include a large number of new data sets: the final HERA and Tevatron data, and a significant number of LHC data sets on vector boson production, inclusive jets and top quark distributions. We include up to NNLO QCD corrections for all data sets that play a major role in the fit. There are some changes to central PDF values and a significant reduction in the uncertainties, but the PDFs and the predictions using them are generally within one standard deviation of the MMHT14 results. We discuss the phenomenological impact of our results.

• Sivers asymmetry in inelastic $J/ψ$ leptoproduction at the EIC

  We study the Sivers asymmetry in inelastic $J/\psi$ leptoproduction, $ep^\uparrow \to e+ J/\psi+X$, within a transverse momentum dependent scheme, the so-called generalized parton model (GPM). The effects of final-state interactions are properly taken into account by employing the color-gauge invariant GPM (CGI-GPM). For the $J/\psi$ formation the non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD) framework is adopted. Predictions for unpolarized cross sections and maximized Sivers asymmetries at EIC energies are given.
