Flow decorrelation in heavy-ion collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{\rm NN}}}$=27 and 200 GeV with 3D event-by-event viscous hydrodynamics

We present the first calculation of longitudinal decorrelation of anisotropic flow at RHIC Beam Energy Scan (BES) energies using event-by-event viscous hydrodynamic model (vHLLE), with two different initial states (GLISSANDO2 and UrQMD) and hadronic cascade. We investigate the origin of the observed decorrelation by checking separately flow angle and flow magnitude decorrelation and by calculating decorrelation in the initial state eccentricity.
Comparison of $pp$ and $p \bar{p}$ differential elastic cross sections and observation of the exchange of a Colorless $C$-odd gluonic compound

We describe the discovery of the colorless $C$-odd gluonic compound, the odderon, by the D0 and TOTEM Collaborations by comparing elastic differential cross sections measured in $pp$ and $p \bar{p}$ interactions at high energies.
The $\pi^0$ mass and the first experimental verification of Coulomb de-excitation in pionic hydrogen

The most precise value for the $\pi^0$ mass was obtained from the measurement of the mass difference $m_{\pi^-}-m_{\pi^0} = 4.593\,64(48)$\,MeV/c$^2$ in the charge exchange reaction $\pi^-$p $\rightarrow \pi^0$n at PSI. With the most precise charged pion mass value, $m_{\pi^+} = 139.570\,21(14)$\,MeV/c$^2$ and the validity of the CPT theorem ($m_{\pi^-} = m_{\pi^+}$), a value $m_{\pi^0} = 134.976\,57(50)$\,MeV/c$^2$ is obtained. The measurements also revealed, for the first time, evidence of an unexpectedly large contribution from Coulomb de-excitation states during the pionic atom cascade.
Probing hadronic interactions with measurements from the Pierre Auger Observatory

The Pierre Auger Observatory is the largest facility in the world to study ultra-high-energy cosmic rays. It has a hybrid detection technique that combines the observation of the longitudinal development of extensive air showers and the measurement of their particles at the ground. This capability has opened the possibility to probe hadronic interactions taking place at energies well beyond those accessible by human-made accelerators. In this report, we present a selection of the latest results on hadronic interactions with measurements from the Pierre Auger Observatory. These data span over three decades in energy, showing the tension between data from the muon component of air showers and predictions based on the most updated hadronic interaction models.
A model for $F_L$ structure function at low values of $Q^2$ and $x$ - revisited

A reanalysis of the model for the longitudinal structure function $F_L (x,Q^2)$ at low $x$ and low $Q^2$ was undertaken, in view of the advent of the EIC. The model includes the kinematic constraint $F_L\sim Q^4$ as $Q^2\rightarrow$ 0. It is based on the photon-gluon fusion mechanism suitably extrapolated to the region of low $Q^2$. Revised model was critically updated, extended to the EIC kinematic region, and e.g. contains new parameterisations of the parton distribution functions.
Colouring the Higgs boson

The jet colour ring is a novel colour tagger observable designed to separate the decay of a colour-singlet into two jets from a two-jet background in a different colour configuration. Simulation studies in the case of the production of a boosted Higgs boson decaying in two b-quarks and an associate electroweak boson, showed notable discriminator powers when comparing the jet colour ring performances with other observables. These results are opening a wide scenario for further studies.
Studying hadronization at LHCb

LHCb is a fully instrumented forward spectrometer with particle identification and muon reconstruction covering the pseudorapidity ($eta$) range from 2 to 5. Its full jet reconstruc- tion capability makes the LHCb experiment a suitable venue to explore jet substructure observables, particularly formation of hadrons and heavy quarkonia resonances inside jets. This contribution presents a brief overview of ongoing research program and dis- cusses recent results on non-identified charged hadron distributions in Z-tagged jets and charmonium distributions within jets. Future works towards furthering the knowledge of hadronizion are also discussed.
Response functions and cross sections for inclusive neutrino scattering off $^2$H, $^3$H and $^3$He

For several decades there has been an interest in studying neutrino scattering on light nuclei, with the hope of increasing knowledge about the theory of weak interactions and electroweak unification. A study of several neutrino induced reactions on light nuclei ($^2$H, $^3$H and $^3$He) is presented here. The cross section for these reactions is evaluated using the nuclear response functions, which holds the information about the nuclear interactions and structure. This approach has been tested for break-up reactions on the deuteron before and is now extended to three-nucleon break-up reactions.
The Hoyle Family: break-up measurements to probe α-condensation in light nuclei

The 12C Hoyle state is a candidate for α-condensation, due to its large volume and α-cluster structure. This paper discusses precision break-up measurements and how they can elucidate α-condensate structures. Two experiments are discussed in detail, firstly concerning the break-up of 12C and then the decays of heavier nuclei. With more theoretical input, and increasingly complex detector setups, precision break-up measurements can, in principle, provide insight into the structures of states in α-conjugate nuclei. At present, such searches have not delivered evidence for α-condensation in 12C or 16O.
Study of Short-Range nuclear Correlations in light nuclei using the BeAGLE event generator

Nuclear dynamics at short distances among nucleons is one of the most outstanding phenomena in nuclear physics. Understanding the role of QCD in generating nuclear forces is important for uncovering the underlying physics of Short-Range Correlations (SRCs). In recent years, SRCs has been observed from light to heavy nuclei using fixed target experiments at Jefferson lab via high energy electron-nucleus scattering. In this talk, I will talk about the opportunity of studying SRCs using light nuclei with collider experiments, e.g., the Electron Ion Collider (EIC). The experimental technique of studying the light nuclei can be based on exclusive processes with tagging final-state particles, in order to fully control the initial state of the target wavefunction. In particular, incoherent diffractive production of $J/\psi$ particle off deuteron will be presented. In addition, the spectral function in light nuclei has been recently modeled in the BeAGLE event generator, where the decay kinematics of the light nuclei and their influence on the very forward detector design at the EIC will be discussed.
