• Multidimensional, high precision beam spin asymmetry measurements of semi-inclusive pion production off the proton with CLAS12

  High precision measurements of the polarized electron beam-spin asymmetry in SIDIS from the proton have been performed using a 10.6 GeV incident electron beam and the CLAS12 spectrometer at Jefferson Lab. The proceeding reports a multidimensional study of the structure function ratio $F^{sin\phi}_{LU}/F_{UU}$ extracted from single pion ($\pi^{+}$, $\pi^{-}$, $\pi^{0}$) SIDIS data over a large kinematic range in $z$, $x_{B}$, $P_{T}$ and virtualities $Q^{2}$ ranging from 1~GeV$^2$ up to 7~GeV$^2$. $F^{sin\phi}_{LU}$ is a twist-3 quantity that can reveal novel properties of quark-gluon correlations within the nucleon.

• The $D_{03}(2380)$ dibaryon resonance excitation in the $pd\to pd\pi\pi$ reaction.

  The recent ANKE@COSY data on the differential cross section of reaction $pd \to pd\pi\pi$ demonstrate a peak at invariant mass of the final $d\pi\pi$ system $2.38~GeV$, that corresponds to the isocalar $J^P = 3^+$ dibaryon $D_{03}$, and also enhancement in the distribution over the invariant mass of two final pions. The two-resonance model involving the $t$-channel $\sigma$-meson exchange between the proton and deuteron in the subprocess $pd\to pD_{03}$ and the sequential decays $D_{03}\to D_{12}+\pi$ and $D_{12}\to d +\pi$ was applied to describe the shapes of these distributions with the lowest orbital angular momenta in the corresponding vertices. A possible role of higher orbital momenta in those vertices is studied here.

• Multidimensional partial wave analysis of SIDIS dihadron beam spin asymmetries at CLAS12

  Dihadron beam spin asymmetries provide a wide range of insights into nucleon structure and hadronization. Recent measurements at CLAS12 provide the first empirical evidence of nonzero $G_1^\perp$, the parton helicity-dependent dihadron fragmentation function (DiFF) encoding spin-momentum correlations in hadronization. These measurements also allow for a point-by-point extraction of the subleading-twist PDF $e(x)$ in a collinear framework. We observe different behavior of the asymmetries in different invariant mass regions, motivating a fully multidimensional study. The DiFFs also expand in terms of partial waves, each corresponding to the interference of dihadrons of particular polarizations. Altogether a fully multidimensional partial wave analysis is needed, and this presentation will summarize the efforts and results obtained thus far.

• The charged $Z_c$ and $Z_b$ structures in a constituent quark model approach

  The nature of the recently discovered $Z_c$ and $Z_b$ structures is intriguing. Their charge forces its minimal quark content to be $Q\bar Q q\bar q$ (where $Q=\{c,b\}$ and $q=\{u,d\}$). In this work we perform a molecular coupled-channels calculation of the $I^G(J^{PC})=1^+(1^{+-})$ charm and bottom sectors in the framework of a constituent quark model which satisfactorily describes a wide range of properties of (non-)conventional hadrons containing heavy quarks. All the relevant channels are included for each sector, i.e.: The $D^{(\ast)}\bar D^{\ast}+h.c.$, $\pi J/\psi$ and $\rho\eta_c$ channels for the $Z_c$ and $B^{(\ast)}B^{\ast}$ and $\Upsilon(nS)\pi$ ($n=1,2,3$) channels for the $Z_b$ analysis. Possible structures of these resonances will be discussed

• Cracking hadron and nuclear collisions open with ropes and string shoving in PYTHIA8

  Enhancement in strangeness yields in heavy-ion collisions is regarded as one of the attributes of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) along with jet quenching and final-state collectivity. To reproduce these effects in the MC implementation of the Lund string model in \pythia, the inclusion of non-perturbative mechanisms like string shoving and rope hadronization is crucial. In this proceeding, we discuss our latest implementation of these mechanisms and the preliminary results for the strangeness enhancement in high-multiplicity p-p, p-Pb and Xe-Xe. We conclude with remarks on the ongoing development of the model.

• The inversion of the Lorentz integral transform with controlled resolution

  The Lorentz integral transform (LIT) method is briefly presented. The ill-posedness of the inversion is discussed and it is pointed out that the LIT is an integral transform with a controlled resolution. As application the dipole response of a three-particle system bound in a hypercentral potential is considered. The inversion is performed in two ways, both employ expansions of the response function and of the LIT on a basis set and a transformed basis set, respectively. A previous study of the process under consideration seemed to point to serious problems in the inversion process. In the present work, however, it is shown that the LIT approach can be carried out in a reliable way.

• Entanglement, partial set of measurements, and diagonality of the density matrix in the parton model

  To study quantum properties of the hadron wavefunction at small x, we derived the reduced density matrix for soft gluons in the CGC framework. We explicitly showed that the reduced density matrix is not diagonal in the particle number basis. The off-diagonal components are usually ignored in the conventional parton model. We thus defined the density matrix of ignorance by keeping only the part of the reduced density matrix which can be probed in a limited set of experimental measurements. We calculated Von Neumann entropy for both the reduced and ignorance density matrices. The entropy of ignorance is always greater than the entanglement entropy (computed drom the reduced density matrix) of gluons. Finally, we showed that the CGC reduced density matrix for soft gluons can be diagonalized in a thermal basis with Boltzmann weights suggesting thermalization of new quasi-particle states which we dubbed entangolons.

  The alpha-alpha bremsstrahlung is studied using the generalization of the Siegert theorem. The corresponding amplitude is written in the gauge invariant form. Special attention is paid to taking into account the Coulomb interaction. Some correlation function is found and its dependence on the strong interaction is discussed.

• Testing the mean field theory of scalar field dark matter

  Scalar field dark matter offers an interesting alternative to the traditional WIMP dark matter picture. Astrophysical and cosmological simulations are useful to constraining the mass of the dark matter particle in this model. This is particularly true at low mass where the wavelike nature of the dark matter particle manifests on astrophysical scales. These simulations typical use a classical field approximation. In this work, we look at extending these simulations to include quantum corrections. We look into both the ways in which large corrections impact the predictions of scalar field dark matter, and the timescales on which these corrections grow large. Corrections tend to lessen density fluctuations and increase the effect of "quantum pressure". During collapse, these corrections grow exponentially, quantum corrections would become important in about $\sim 30$ dynamical times. This implies that the predictions of classical field simulations may differ from those with quantum corrections for systems with short dynamical times.
