  A survey is given on the new 2– and 3–loop results for the heavy flavor contributions to deep–inelastic scattering in the unpolarized and the polarized case. We also discuss related new mathematical aspects applied in these calculations.

• Constant-time quantum algorithm for homology detection in closed curves

  Given a loop or more generally 1-cycle $r$ of size L on a closed two-dimensional manifold or surface, represented by a triangulated mesh, a question in computational topology asks whether or not it is homologous to zero. We frame and tackle this problem in the quantum setting. Given an oracle that one can use to query the inclusion of edges on a closed curve, we design a quantum algorithm for such a homology detection with a constant running time, with respect to the size or the number of edges on the loop $r$, requiring only a single usage of oracle. In contrast, classical algorithm requires $\Omega(L)$ oracle usage, followed by a linear time processing and can be improved to logarithmic by using a parallel algorithm. Our quantum algorithm can be extended to check whether two closed loops belong to the same homology class. Furthermore, it can be applied to a specific problem in the homotopy detection, namely, checking whether two curves are not homotopically equivalent on a closed two-dimensional manifold.

  Four nucleon scattering at intermediate energies provides unique opportunities to study effects of the two key ingredients of the nuclear dynamics, the nucleon-nucleon P-wave (NNP-wave) and the three-nucleon force (3NF). This is possible only with systematic and precise data, in conjunction with exact theoretical calculations. Using the BINA detector at KVI Groningen, the Netherlands, a rich set of differential cross section of the 2H(d, dp)n breakup reaction at 160 MeV deuteron beam energy has been measured. Besides the three-body breakup, also cross sections of the 2H(d, 3He)n proton transfer reaction have been obtained. The data are compared to the recent calculations for the three-cluster breakup.

• A novel formulation of the unintegrated gluon distribution for DIS

  In this talk, we revisit inclusive DIS in the small $x$ limit and derive a new factorization formula that accounts for leading powers in both Bjorken and Regge limits. In this semi-classical description, we obtain a new unintegrated gluon distribution which encompasses both the dipole operator and the gluon Parton Distribution Function with an explicit dependence on the longitudinal momentum fraction $x$.

• Mergers as a probe of particle dark matter

  Black holes below Chandrasekhar mass limit (1.4 $M_{\odot}$) can not be produced via any standard stellar evolution. Recently, gravitational wave experiments have also discovered unusually low mass black holes whose origin is yet to be known. We propose a simple yet novel formation mechanism of such low mass black holes. Non-annihilating particle dark matter, owing to their interaction with stellar nuclei, can gradually accumulate inside compact stars, and eventually swallows them to low mass black holes, ordinarily impermissible by the Chandrasekhar limit. We point out several avenues to test this proposal, concentrating on the cosmic evolution of the binary merger rates.

• Influence of the Pauli principle on two-cluster potential energy

  We study effects of the Pauli principle on the potential energy of two-cluster systems. The object of the investigation is the lightest nuclei of p-shell with a dominant $\alpha$-cluster channel. For this aim we construct matrix elements of two-cluster potential energy between cluster oscillator functions with and without full antisymmetrization. Eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the potential energy matrix are studied in detail. Eigenfunctions of the potential energy operator are presented in oscillator, coordinate and momentum spaces. We demonstrate that the Pauli principle affects more strongly the eigenfunctions than the eigenvalues of the matrix and leads to the formation of resonance and trapped states.

• The diagrammatic coaction and cuts of the double box

  The diagrammatic coaction encodes the analytic structure of Feynman integrals by mapping any given Feynman diagram into a tensor product of diagrams defined by contractions and cuts of the original diagram. Feynman integrals evaluate to generalized hypergeometric functions in dimensional regularization. Establishing the coaction on this type of functions has helped formulating and checking the diagrammatic coaction of certain two-loop integrals. In this talk we study its application on the fully massless double box diagram. We make use of differential equation techniques, which, together with the properties of homology and cohomology theory of the resulting hypergeometric functions, allow us to formulate the coaction on a range of cuts of the double box in closed form.

• Self-interacting dark matter on small and large scales

  In the self-interacting dark matter paradigm (hereafter SIDM), dark matter (DM) is assumed to have non-gravitational interactions with itself. SIDM has been constrained by observations of galaxy clusters. More recently, measurements of large DM densities at the center of the Milky Way's galaxy satellites are indicating that DM-DM interactions can potentially induce gravothermal core collapse. In this proceeding an overview of the combined measurements of cluster-size galaxies and kinematics of local satellite galaxies is used to argue that DM interactions should depend on the relative velocity of the DM particles.

• Recent progress on two-loop massless pentabox integrals with one off-shell leg

  Analytic expressions in terms of polylogarithmic functions for all three families of planar two-loop five-point Master Integrals with one off-shell leg are presented. The Simplified Differential Equations approach is the only known way to fulfil this task due to its unique factorisation property of the symbols of the canonical differential equation. The results are relevant to the study of many $2\to 3$ scattering processes of interest at the LHC.

• A differential-geometry approach to operator mixing in massless QCD-like theories and Poincaré-Dulac theorem

  We review recent progress on operator mixing in the light of the theory of canonical forms for linear systems of differential equations and, in particular, of the Poincar\'e-Dulac theorem. We show that the matrix $A(g) = -\frac{\gamma(g)}{\beta(g)} =\frac{\gamma_0}{\beta_0}\frac{1}{g} + \cdots $ determines which different cases of operator mixing can occur, and we review their classification. We derive a sufficient condition for $A(g)$ to be set in the one-loop exact form $A(g) = \frac{\gamma_0}{\beta_0}\frac{1}{g}$. Finally, we discuss the consequences of the unitarity requirement in massless QCD-like theories, and we demonstrate that $\gamma_0$ is always diagonalizable if the theory is conformal invariant and unitary in its free limit at $g =0$.
