• Boundary conditions for extremal black holes from 2d gravity

  We devise new boundary conditions for the near-horizon geometries of extremal BTZ and Kerr black holes, as well as for the ultra-cold limit of the Kerr-de Sitter black hole. These boundary conditions are obtained as the higher-dimensional uplift of recently proposed boundary conditions in two-dimensional gravity. Their asymptotic symmetries consist in the semi-direct product of a Virasoro and a current algebra, of which we determine the central extensions.

• Majorana edge states in Kitaev chains of the BDI symmetry class

  Majorana edge states in Kitaev chains possessing an effective time reversal symmetry with one fermionic site per unit cell are studied. For a semi-infinite chain the equations for the wave functions of Majorana zero modes can be reduced to a single Wiener-Hopf equation, which has an exact analytical solution. We use this solution to determine the asymptotic behaviors of the Majorana wave functions at large distances from the edge of the chain for several infinite-range models described in the literature with focus on a model with slow power-law falloff of pairing and hopping amplitudes. For these models we also determine the asymptotic behavior of the energy of the fermionic state composed of two Majorana modes in the limit of long (finite) Kitaev chains.

• Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz and generalised hydrodynamics in the sine-Gordon model

  We set up a hydrodynamic description of the non-equilibrium dynamics of sine-Gordon quantum field theory for generic coupling. It is built upon an explicit form of the Bethe Ansatz description of general thermodynamic states, with the structure of the resulting coupled integral equations encoded in terms of graphical diagrams. The resulting framework is applied to derive results for the Drude weights of charge and energy. Quantities associated with the charge universally have fractal dependence on the coupling, which is notably absent from those associated with energy, a feature explained by the different roles played by reflective scattering in transporting these quantities. We then present far-from-equilibrium results, including explicit time evolution starting from bipartite initial states and dynamical correlation functions. Our framework can be applied to explore numerous other aspects of non-equilibrium dynamics, which opens the way to a wide array of theoretical studies and potential novel experimental predictions.

• Study of charmonium(-like) spectroscopy and decay at BESIII

  The recent results on Charmonium and Charmonium-like states at BESIII are reviewed, including the observation of $\rm Z_{cs}(3985)$ state, the study of the new decay modes of $\psi_2(3823)$ state, observation of resonance structure in $\rm e^+e^- \to \pi^+\pi^-\psi_2(3823)$ process, the study of the $\rm e^+e^- \to K^+K^-J/\psi$ process, cross section measurement of $\rm e^+e^- \to \omega\pi^0$ and $\omega\eta$ process, branching fraction measurement of $\psi(3686)\to\bar{\Sigma}^0\Lambda + c.c.$ process. Decay channels for $\chi_{cJ} \to \Lambda\bar{\Lambda}$, $\chi_{cJ} \to \Lambda\bar{\Lambda}\eta$, $\psi(3686) \to \Lambda\bar{\Lambda}\omega$ and $\eta_c(2S)\to3(\pi^+\pi^-)$ are also discussed. The property of the spin singlet P wave Charmonium state, $\rm h_c$ is also reported.

• Recent results from reactor antineutrino experiments

  The smallest neutrino mixing angle $\theta_{13}$ has been successfully measured by the disappearance of reactor antineutrinos at RENO, Daya Bay, and Double Chooz. The oscillation frequency is also measured based on energy and baseline dependent disappearance probability of reactor antineutrinos. Recent results fi nd a variation in the observed reactor antineutrino flux as a function of the reactor fuel evolution. We report more precisely measured values of $\theta_{13}$ and $\Delta m^2_{ee}$ and results on the evolution of observed reactor antineutrino yield and spectrum.

• TMD observables in unpolarised Semi-Inclusive DIS at COMPASS

  In 2016 and 2017, the COMPASS Collaboration at CERN collected a large sample of DIS events with a longitudinally polarised 160 GeV/$c$ muon beam scattering off a liquid hydrogen target. Part of the collected data has been analysed to extract preliminary results for the amplitudes of the modulations in the azimuthal angle of the charged hadrons and for their transverse-momentum distributions. These observables give relevant information for the study of the transverse momentum and spin structure of the nucleon. Similarly to the results obtained in COMPASS with a deuteron target, the azimuthal asymmetries exhibit interesting kinematic dependences, while the squared-transverse-momentum distributions can be described by two exponentials.

• The role of the underlying event in the charm-baryon enhancement observed in pp collisions at LHC energies

  We study the enhanced production of $\Lambda_c$ charmed baryons relative to that of charmed $D^0$ mesons in proton–proton collisions at LHC energies. We simulated collision events with the enhanced color-reconnection model in PYTHIA 8 MC generator and propose measurements based on the comparative use of different event-activity classifiers to identify the source of the charmed-baryon enhancement. We demonstrate that in this enhanced color-reconnection scenario the excess production is primarily linked to the underlying event and not to the production of high-momentum jets.

• Muons in showers with energy $\boldsymbol{E_{0} \geq}$ 5 EeV and QGSjetII-04 and EPOS LHC models of hadronic interactions. Is there a muon deficit in the models?

  The paper presents data on the muon component with a threshold $\varepsilon_{thr} ≥$ 1 GeV. Air showers were registered at the Yakutsk array during almost 50 years of continuous air shower observations. The characteristics of muons are compared with calculations of QGSjetII-04 and EPOS LHC models for a proton and an iron nucleus. There is a muon deficit in the models, at energies greater than 5 EeV. To make an agreement between experimental data and simulations on muons, further tuning of the models is required.

• Applying Quantum Tomography to Hadronic Interactions

  A proper description of inclusive reactions is expressed with density matrices. Quantum tomography reconstructs density matrices from experimental observables. We review recent work that applies quantum tomography to practical experimental data analysis. Almost all field-theoretic formalism and modeling used in a traditional approach is circumvented with great efficiency. Tomographically-determined density matrices can express information about quantum systems which cannot in principle be expressed with distributions defined by classical probability. Topics such as entanglement and von Neumann entropy can be accessed using the same natural language where they are defined. A deep relation exists between {\it separability}, as defined in quantum information science, and {\it factorization}, as defined in high energyphysics. Factorization acquires a non-perturbative definition when expressed in terms of a conditional form of separability. An example illustrates how to go from data for momentum 4-vectors to a density matrix while bypassing almost all the formalism of the Standard Model.

• ATLAS results on exotic hadronic resonances

  Recent results from the proton-proton collision data taken by the ATLAS experiment on exotic resonances are presented. A search for $J/\psi p$ resonances in $\Lambda_{b}→ J/\psi p K$ decays with large $p K$ invariant masses is reported. A search for exotic resonances in the four-muon final state is shown.
