• Exact diagonalization, matrix product states and conformal perturbation theory study of a 3D Ising fuzzy sphere model

  Numerical studies of phase transitions in statistical and quantum lattice models provide crucial insights into the corresponding Conformal Field Theories (CFTs). In higher dimensions, comparing finite-volume numerical results to infinite-volume CFT data is facilitated by choosing the sphere $S^{d-1}$ as the spatial manifold. Recently, the fuzzy sphere regulator [Zhu et al, Phys. Rev. X 13, 021009 (2023)] has enabled such studies with exact rotational invariance, yielding impressive agreement with known 3D Ising CFT predictions, as well as new results. However, systematic improvements and a deeper understanding of finite-size corrections remain essential. In this work, we revisit the fuzzy sphere regulator, focusing on the original Ising model, with two main goals. First, we assess the robustness of this approach using Conformal Perturbation Theory (CPT), to which we provide a detailed guidebook. We demonstrate how CPT provides a unified framework for determining the critical point, the speed of light, and residual deviations from CFT predictions. Applying this framework, we study finite-size corrections and clarify the role of tuning the model in minimizing these effects. Second, we develop a novel method for extracting Operator Product Expansion (OPE) coefficients from fuzzy sphere data. This method leverages the sensitivity of energy levels to detuning from criticality, providing new insights into level mixing and avoided crossings in finite systems. Our work also includes validation of CPT in a 1+1D Ising model away from the integrable limit.

• MACK: Mismodeling addressed with contrastive knowledge

  The use of machine learning methods in high energy physics typically relies on large volumes of precise simulation for training. As machine learning models become more complex they can become increasingly sensitive to differences between this simulation and the real data collected by experiments. We present a generic methodology based on contrastive learning which is able to greatly mitigate this negative effect. Crucially, the method does not require prior knowledge of the specifics of the mismodeling. While we demonstrate the efficacy of this technique using the task of jet-tagging at the Large Hadron Collider, it is applicable to a wide array of different tasks both in and out of the field of high energy physics.

• The charged $Z_c$ and $Z_b$ structures in a constituent quark model approach

  The nature of the recently discovered $Z_c$ and $Z_b$ structures is intriguing. Their charge forces its minimal quark content to be $Q\bar Q q\bar q$ (where $Q=\{c,b\}$ and $q=\{u,d\}$). In this work we perform a molecular coupled-channels calculation of the $I^G(J^{PC})=1^+(1^{+-})$ charm and bottom sectors in the framework of a constituent quark model which satisfactorily describes a wide range of properties of (non-)conventional hadrons containing heavy quarks. All the relevant channels are included for each sector, i.e.: The $D^{(\ast)}\bar D^{\ast}+h.c.$, $\pi J/\psi$ and $\rho\eta_c$ channels for the $Z_c$ and $B^{(\ast)}B^{\ast}$ and $\Upsilon(nS)\pi$ ($n=1,2,3$) channels for the $Z_b$ analysis. Possible structures of these resonances will be discussed

• The Hyper-Kamiokande experiment: Status and prospect

  Hyper-Kamiokande is the next-generation neutrino observatory, aiming to tackle a broad spectrum of physics programs. These include probing leptonic CP violation through long baseline accelerator neutrino oscillations, determining neutrino mass ordering, potentially discovering the proton decay, and capturing neutrinos from supernova relics, other astrophysical sources, and the sun. As the world's largest underground Cherenkov detector, Hyper-Kamiokande boasts a fiducial volume eight times that of its predecessor, Super-Kamiokande. With 258 kton of ultrapure water as its medium, Hyper-Kamiokande is scheduled to begin its groundbreaking operations in 2027, located in Kamioka, Japan. This proceeding outlines the ambitious physics program of Hyper-Kamiokande, details of the design of the detector, and provides an update on its current status.

• Quasi-particle functional renormalisation group calculations in the two-dimensional t-t'-Hubbard model

  We extend and apply a recently introduced quasi-particle functional renormalisation group scheme to the two-dimensional Hubbard model with next-nearest-neighbour hopping and away from half filling. We confirm the generation of superconducting correlations in some regions of the phase diagram, but also find that the inclusion of self-energy feedback by means of a decreasing quasi-particle weight can suppress superconducting tendencies more than anti-ferromagnetic correlations by which they are generated. As a supplement, we provide sample results for the self-energy in second-order perturbation theory and address some conceptual matters.

• Theoretical study of deeply virtual Compton scattering off $^4$He

  An interesting breakthrough in understanding the elusive inner content of nuclear systems in terms of partonic degrees of freedom is represented by deeply virtual Compton scattering processes. In such a way, tomographic view of nuclei and bound nucleons in coordinate space could be achieved for the first time. Moreover, nowadays experimental results for such a process considering $^4$He targets recently released at Jefferson Lab are available. In this talk, the recent results of our rigorous Impulse Approximation for DVCS off $^4$He, in terms of state-of-the-art models of the nuclear spectral function and of the parton structure of the bound proton, able to explain present data, has been shown.

• EUSO-SPB2: A sub-orbital cosmic ray and neutrino multi-messenger pathfinder observatory

  The next generation of ultra-high energy cosmic ray (UHECR) and very-high energy neutrino observatories will address the challenge of the extremely low fluxes of these particles at the highest energies. EUSO-SPB2 (Extreme Universe Space Observatory on a Super Pressure Balloon 2) is designed to prepare space missions to address this challenge. EUSO-SPB2 is equipped with 2 telescopes: the Fluorescence Telescope, which will point downwards and measure fluorescence emission from UHECR air showers with an energy above 2 EeV, and the Cherenkov Telescope (CT), which will point towards the Earth's limb and measure direct Cherenkov emission from cosmic rays with energies above 1 PeV verifying the technique. Pointed below the limb, the CT will search for Cherenkov emission produced by neutrino-sourced tau-lepton decays above 10 PeV energies and study backgrounds for such events. The EUSO-SPB2 mission will provide pioneering observations and technical milestones on the path towards a space-based multi-messenger observatory.

• Investigations of the few-nucleon systems within the LENPIC project

  Results presented in this contribution are obtained within the Low Energy Nuclear Physics International Collaboration (LENPIC). LENPIC aims to develop chiral nucleon-nucleon and many-nucleon interactions complete through at least the fourth order in the chiral expansion. These interactions will be used together with consistently derived current operators to solve the structure and reactions of light and medium-mass nuclei including electroweak processes. In this contribution the current status of the chiral nuclear forces and current operators will be briefly discussed. A special role played by the calculations of nucleon-deuteron scattering will be explained.
