The journal accepts Reviews of different levels:

topic-level content which provides an overview of a well-defined research direction, covering a single or multiple approaches

specialty-level content which provides an overview of multiple topics and/or approaches within a well-defined area of specialty
-
field-level content which presents a perspective on multiple specialties, emphasizing their interconnectedness within the context of current and future research.
The content should be appropriate for graduate- and research-level researchers in the corresponding areas.
Acceptance criteria
To be accepted for publication in SciPost Physics Reviews, a submission should:
Expectations:
- Provide a correct, systematic and intelligible presentation of the material, within the chosen scope of the Review
- Cover a subject of ongoing interest to the research community
- Present a complete and up-to-date overview of the covered topic(s), including citations to all significant references
Submission and Editorial Process
Authors should follow the authoring guidelines to ensure seamless processing of their manuscript. The SciPost Journals Terms and Conditions apply to all Submissions to SciPost Physics Reviews.
All incoming Submissions are thoroughly checked for plagiarism, and follow the peer-witnessed refereeing procedures outlined in Editorial procedure.
Minimal number of reports: at least 2 substantial reports must have been received; all points raised must have been addressed either in resubmissions or in author replies before a recommendation for publication can be formulated.
All publication decisions are taken by the Editorial College (Physics), following the rules set out in the Editorial College by-laws.
