• Entanglement, partial set of measurements, and diagonality of the density matrix in the parton model

  To study quantum properties of the hadron wavefunction at small x, we derived the reduced density matrix for soft gluons in the CGC framework. We explicitly showed that the reduced density matrix is not diagonal in the particle number basis. The off-diagonal components are usually ignored in the conventional parton model. We thus defined the density matrix of ignorance by keeping only the part of the reduced density matrix which can be probed in a limited set of experimental measurements. We calculated Von Neumann entropy for both the reduced and ignorance density matrices. The entropy of ignorance is always greater than the entanglement entropy (computed drom the reduced density matrix) of gluons. Finally, we showed that the CGC reduced density matrix for soft gluons can be diagonalized in a thermal basis with Boltzmann weights suggesting thermalization of new quasi-particle states which we dubbed entangolons.

• Gluon pseudo-distributions at short distances

  We present the results that are necessary in the ongoing lattice calculations of the gluon parton distribution functions (PDFs) within the pseudo-PDF approach. We identify the two-gluon correlator functions that contain the invariant amplitude determining the gluon PDF in the light-cone $z^2 \to 0$ limit, and perform one-loop calculations in the coordinate representation in an explicitly gauge-invariant form. Ultraviolet (UV) terms, which contain $\ln (-z^2)$-dependence cancel in the reduced Ioffe-time distribution (ITD), and we obtain the matching relation between the reduced ITD and the light-cone ITD. Using a kernel form, we get a direct connection between lattice data for the reduced ITD and the normalized gluon PDF.

• Multidimensional partial wave analysis of SIDIS dihadron beam spin asymmetries at CLAS12

  Dihadron beam spin asymmetries provide a wide range of insights into nucleon structure and hadronization. Recent measurements at CLAS12 provide the first empirical evidence of nonzero $G_1^\perp$, the parton helicity-dependent dihadron fragmentation function (DiFF) encoding spin-momentum correlations in hadronization. These measurements also allow for a point-by-point extraction of the subleading-twist PDF $e(x)$ in a collinear framework. We observe different behavior of the asymmetries in different invariant mass regions, motivating a fully multidimensional study. The DiFFs also expand in terms of partial waves, each corresponding to the interference of dihadrons of particular polarizations. Altogether a fully multidimensional partial wave analysis is needed, and this presentation will summarize the efforts and results obtained thus far.

• Production of three isolated photons in the high-energy factorization approach

  We study large-$p_T$ three-photon production at the LHC at the center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV. We use the LO approximation of the parton Reggeization approach consistently merged with the real NLO corrections. For numerical calculations use the parton-level generator KaTie and modified KMR-type unintegrated parton distribution functions. We find good agreement between our predictions and data with the same accuracy as in the NNLO calculations based on the collinear parton model of QCD. At higher energies ($\sqrt{s}=13$ and 27 TeV) parton Reggeization approach predicts larger cross sections, up to $\sim 10$ \% and $\sim 20$ \%, respectively.

• Searches for invisible scalar decays at CLIC

  The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) is a proposed TeV-scale high-luminosity electron-positron collider at CERN. The first CLIC running stage, at 380 GeV, will focus on precision Higgs boson and top quark studies while the main aim of the subsequent high-energy stages, at 1.5 TeV and 3 TeV, is to extend the sensitivity of CLIC to different Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) scenarios. We studied the prospects for measuring invisible Higgs boson and additional heavy scalar decays using CLIC data at 380 GeV and 1.5 TeV. The analysis is based on the WHIZARD event generator, with fast simulation of the CLIC detector response parametrised by the DELPHES package. We present the expected limits for the invisible decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson, the cross section limits for production of an additional neutral Higgs scalar, assuming its invisible decays, and limits on the mixing angle between the SM-like Higgs boson and the new scalar of the "dark sector" in the framework of the vector-fermion dark matter model.

• Pion GPDs: Constraints, modelling and experimental access

  The study of Generalised Parton Distributions is a hot-topic in hadron physics. Due to its connection with chiral symmetry breaking, assessing those of pions is of great interest. For this reason, we present a novel model-building strategy for pion GPDs capable of fulfilling all of the theoretical constraints required by QCD: support, polynomiality, positivity and soft-pion theorem. The methodology is illustrated with a simple model, and exploited afterwards for the calculation of pions' deeply virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) Compton Form Factors (CFFs) at NLO. The results show gluon-content to play the dominant role in pions' response to DVCS at EIC kinematics.

  I report on precision comparisons of theoretical predictions for Drell-Yan (DY) transverse momentum spectra from two approaches: the analytical resummation approach based on Collins-Soper-Sterman (CSS) formalism and the parton branching (PB) approach to the evolution of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distributions.

• Measurement of Target Spin (in)dependent Asymmetries in Dimuon Production in Pion-Nucleon Collisions at COMPASS

  The exploration of the transverse spin structure of the nucleon is one of the main topics of the COMPASS phase-II experiment. In 2015 and 2018 COMPASS performed Drell–Yan (DY) measurements using a 190 GeV π− beam interacting with a transversely polarized NH3 target and unpolarized W target. The azimuthal asymmetries in DY with trans- versely polarized NH3 target are sensitive to various transverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions. Preliminary results on the Sivers asymmetry are consis- tent with the QCD prediction for a sign-change of Sivers functions in DY. The angular coefficients λ, μ and ν that describe the unpolarized part of the DY cross section have been extracted from the data collected with W target. The preliminary results on the angular coefficients indicate the violation of the Lam–Tung relation, consistent with the observation in earlier DY experiments with pion beams.

• Top-quark mass determination in the optimised threshold scan

  One of the important goals at the future e$^+$e$^−$ colliders is to measure the top-quark mass and width in a scan of the pair production threshold. Presented in this work is the most general approach to the top-quark mass determination from the threshold scan at CLIC, with all relevant model parameters and selected systematic uncertainties included in the fit procedure. In the baseline scan scenario the top-quark mass can be extracted with precision of the order of 30 to 40 MeV, already for 100 fb$^{−1}$ of data collected at the threshold. We present the optimisation procedure based on the genetic algorithm with which the statistical uncertainty of the mass measurement can be reduced by about 20%.
