• Dipole symmetry breaking and fractonic Nambu-Goldstone mode

  We introduce a family of quantum field theories for fields carrying monopole and dipole charges. In contrast to previous realizations, fields have quadratic two-derivative kinetic terms. The dipole symmetry algebra is realized in a discretized internal space and connected to the physical space through a background gauge field. We study spontaneous symmetry breaking of dipole symmetry in 1+1 dimensions in a large-$N$ limit. The trivial classical vacuum is lifted by quantum corrections into a vacuum which breaks dipole symmetry while preserving monopole charge. By means of a Hubbard-Stratonovich transformation, heat-kernel and large-$N$ techniques, we compute the effective action for the low-energy modes. We encounter a fractonic immobile Nambu-Goldstone mode whose dispersion characteristics avoid Coleman-Hohenberg-Mermin-Wagner theorem independently of the large-$N$ limit.

• The pion-photon transition form factor at two loops in QCD

  We report on the fully analytic calculation of the leading-power contribution to the photon-pion transition form factor $\gamma \, \gamma^{\ast} \to \pi^0$ at two loops in QCD. The applied techniques are based on hard-collinear factorization, together with modern multi-loop methods. We focus both, on the technical details such as the treatment of evanescent operators, and the phenomenological implications. Our results indicate that the two-loop correction is numerically comparable to the one-loop effect in the same kinematic domain. We also demonstrate that our results will play a key role in disentangling various models for the twist-two pion distribution amplitude thanks to the envisaged precision at Belle II.

• Temperature dependence of quasiparticle interference in $d$-wave superconductors

  We investigate the temperature dependence of quasiparticle interference in the high $T_c$-cuprates using an exact-diagonalization + Monte-Carlo based scheme to simulate the $d$-wave superconducting order parameter. The quasiparticle interference patterns have features largely resulting from the scattering vectors of the octet model at lower temperature. Our findings suggest that the features of quasiparticle interference in the pseudogap region of the phase diagram are also dominated by the set of scattering vectors belonging to the octet model because of the persisting antinodal gap beyond the superconducting transition $T_c$. However, beyond a temperature when the antinodal gap becomes very small, a set of scattering vectors different from those belonging to the octet model are responsible for the quasiparticle interference patterns. With a rise in temperature, the patterns are increasingly broadened.

• Recent results on hyperon pair production and nucleon time-like form factors at BESIII

  The BESIII experiment, based on the BEPCII collider at IHEP in Beijing, China, is capable of measuring nucleon form factors with unprecedented precision. We report recent results achieved by the BESIII collaboration concerning the nucleon time-like form factors and the hyperon pair production. More in detail we outline the results obtained by the study of the process $e^+e^- \to p \overline p$, using both the scan-energy and initial-state radiation techniques, those of the process $e^+e^- \to n \overline n$, and the study of the $\Sigma$ polarization regarding the process $e^+e^- \to J/\psi \to \Sigma^+\overline \Sigma{}^-$.

• Dark matter as a QCD effect in an anti de Sitter geometry: Cosmogonic implications of de Sitter, anti de Sitter and Poincaré symmetries

  The $\Lambda$CDM standard model of cosmology involves two dark components of the universe, dark energy and dark matter. Whereas dark energy is usually associated with the (positive) cosmological constant $\Lambda$ associated with a de Sitter geometry, we propose to explain dark matter as a pure QCD effect, namely a gluonic Bose Einstein condensate with the status of a Cosmic Gluonic Background (CGB). This effect is due to the trace anomaly viewed as an effective negative cosmological constant determining an Anti de Sitter geometry and accompanying baryonic matter at the hadronization transition from the quark gluon plasma phase to the colorless hadronic phase. Our approach also allows to assume a ratio Dark/Visible equal to 11/2.

• Thermal pure matrix product state in two dimensions: Tracking thermal equilibrium from paramagnet down to the Kitaev honeycomb spin liquid state

  We present the first successful application of the matrix product state (MPS) representing a thermal quantum pure state (TPQ) in equilibrium in two spatial dimensions over almost the entire temperature range. We use the Kitaev honeycomb model as a prominent example hosting a quantum spin liquid (QSL) ground state to target the two specific-heat peaks previously solved nearly exactly using the free Majorana fermionic description. Starting from the high-temperature random state, our TPQ-MPS framework on a cylinder precisely reproduces these peaks, showing that the quantum many-body description based on spins can still capture the emergent itinerant Majorana fermions in a ${\mathbb Z}_2$ gauge field. The truncation process efficiently discards the high-energy states, eventually reaching the long-range entangled topological state approaching the exact ground state for a given finite size cluster. An advantage of TPQ-MPS over exact diagonalization or purification-based methods is its lowered numerical cost coming from a reduced effective Hilbert space even at finite temperature.

• Device-independent and semi-device-independent entanglement certification in broadcast Bell scenarios

  It has recently been shown that by broadcasting the subsystems of a bipartite quantum state, one can activate Bell nonlocality and significantly improve noise tolerance bounds for device-independent entanglement certification. In this work we strengthen these results and explore new aspects of this phenomenon. First, we prove new results related to the activation of Bell nonlocality. We construct Bell inequalities tailored to the broadcast scenario, and show how broadcasting can lead to even stronger notions of Bell nonlocality activation. In particular, we exploit these ideas to show that bipartite states admitting a local hidden-variable model for general measurements can lead to genuine tripartite nonlocal correlations. We then study device-independent entanglement certification in the broadcast scenario, and show through semidefinite programming techniques that device-independent entanglement certification is possible for the two-qubit Werner state in essentially the entire range of entanglement. Finally, we extend the concept of EPR steering to the broadcast scenario, and present novel examples of activation of the two-qubit isotropic state. Our results pave the way for broadcast-based device-independent and semi-device-independent protocols.

• Intermittency Analysis of Toy Monte Carlo Events

  Event-by-event intermittency analysis of Toy Monte Carlo events is performed in the scenario of high multiplicity events as is the case at recent colliders RHIC and LHC for AA collisions. A power law behaviour of Normalized Factorial Moments (NFM), $F_{q}$ as function of number of bins ($M$) known as intermittency, is a signature of self-similar fluctuations. Dependence of NFM on the detector efficiencies and on the presence of fluctuations have been studied. Results presented here provide a baseline to the experimental results and clarity on the application of efficiency corrections to the experimental data.

• NNLO EW⊗QCD corrections to on-shell Z production

  In this proceeding, we outline the computational details and present the results for NNLO mixed EW⊗QCD corrections to on-shell production of Z boson at the LHC. We use the method of differential equation to obtain all the master integrals analytically, appearing in virtual and real-emission contributions. These results increase the accuracy of the predictions and contribute to reduce the theoretical uncertainties.

• Master integrals contributing to two-loop leading colour QCD helicity amplitudes for top-quark pair production in the gluon fusion channel

  We discuss the analytic structure of the master integrals relevant for computing the com- plete set of leading-colour analytic helicity amplitudes for top-quark pair production via gluon fusion at two loops in QCD. This includes corrections due to massive fermion loops which give rise to integrals involving elliptic curves. We also elaborate on the structure of singularities that play an important role in the numerical evaluation of the iterated integrals and their analytic continuation.
