• A sharp transition in quantum chaos and thermodynamics of mass deformed SYK model

  We review our recent work [arXiv:2009.10759] where we studied the chaotic property of the two coupled Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev systems exhibiting a Hawking-Page like phase transition. By computing the out-of-time-ordered correlator in the large N limit by using the bilocal field formalism, we found that the chaos exponent of this model shows a discontinuous fall-off at the phase transition temperature. Hence in this model the Hawking-Page like transition is correlated with a transition in chaoticity, as expected from the relation between a black hole geometry and the chaotic behavior in the dual field theory.

• Prompt hadroproduction of C-even quarkonia in the light-front $k_T$ -factorization approach

  We present a new approach for the prompt production of quarkonia which is based on the $k_T$-factorization method. The production of even C-parity quarkonia proceeds via the fusion of two (off-shell) gluons. Especially in the kinematics of the LHCb experiment these processes are thus expected to be a sensitive probe of the small-x gluon distribution. We calculate the relevant off-shell matrix elements in terms of the light-front wave functions of the quarkonium states. We present our results for scalar and pseudoscalar charmonia and discuss photon transition form factors as well as cross sections for prompt hadroproduction. We compare our results for the $\eta_c$ to recent LHCb data.

• Spectral solutions for the Schrödinger equation with a regular singularity

  We propose a modification in the Bethe-like ansatz to reproduce the hydrogen atom spectrum and the wave functions. Such a proposal provided a clue to attempt the exact quantization condition (EQC) for the quantum periods associated with potentials $V(x)$ which are of the form $(V(x) = |x| + a/|x| + b/|x|^2 )$. We validate the EQC proposal by showing that our computed Voros spectrum in the limit $a,b → 0$ is matching well with the true spectrum of the familiar $|x|$ potential. Thus we have given a route to obtain the spectral solution for the one dimensional Schrödinger equation involving potentials with regular singularity at the origin.

• Probing hadronic interaction models with the hybrid data of the Pierre Auger Observatory

  Presently large systematic uncertainties remain in the description of hadronic interactions at ultra-high energies and a fully consistent description of air-shower experimental data is yet to be reached. The amount of data collected by the Pierre Auger Observatory using simultaneously the fluorescence and surface detectors in the energy range 10$^{18.5}$ -10$^{19.0}$ eV has provided opportunity to perform a multi-parameter test of model predictions. We apply a global method to simultaneously fit the mass composition of cosmic rays and adjustments to the simulated depth of shower maximum, and hadronic signal at ground level. The best description of the hybrid data is obtained for a deeper scale of simulated depth of shower maximum than predicted by hadronic interaction models tuned to the LHC data. Consequently, the deficit of the simulated hadronic signal at ground level, dominated by muons, is alleviated with respect to the unmodified hadronic interaction models. Because of the size of the adjustments to simulated depth of shower maximum and hadronic signal and the large number of events in the sample, the statistical significance of these assumed adjustments is large, greater than 5$\sigma_{stat}$, even for the combination of the systematic experimental shifts within 1$\sigma_{sys}$ that are the most favorable for the models.

• Probing lepton flavor violation via $e\tau$ production in an effective framework at a future electron-positron circular coll

  In the Standard Model framework, lepton flavor is conserved in interactions. However, it can be violated in certain scenarios beyond the Standard Model. In this study, we consider $(e^{±}\tau^{\mp})$ production through a four-Fermi lepton flavor violation interaction at the future electron-positron circular collider (FCC-ee). To constrain the Wilson coefficients at four center-of-mass energies $157.5, 162.5, 240$, and $365$ GeV that have been proposed for the FCC-ee, a Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) is used. The main sources of background are accounted for, and the study incorporates realistic detector effects. To enhance the results, we combine the individual constraints obtained at each center-of-mass energy. We show that the combined limits improve the sensitivity to lepton flavor violation couplings by a factor of approximately three compared to the individual results and are competitive with the Belle II prospects.

• Probing gluon density fluctuations at large momentum transfer $|t|$ at HERA

  The information on the gluonic structure and its fluctuations is captured by the differential $|t|$ spectrum in diffractive events. The incoherent cross-section is sensitive to the fluctuations in the target wavefunction in such events. We investigate the incoherent $ep$ cross-section in $J/\psi$ photoproduction using the impact-parameter dependent dipole model. The spatial gluonic structure is modelled as hotspots of gluon density having substructure where this substructure is modelled as hotspots within hotspots. We find that three levels of the substructure provide a good description of all the data, available up to $|t|=30~$GeV$^2$. We investigate these fluctuations in both the saturated and non-saturated dipole models and compare our predictions with the HERA Data.

• Status and prospects for $\tau$ property measurements at Belle II

  Belle II is a major upgrade of the Belle detector, operating at the SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider with a design luminosity of 8×$10^{35}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. To date, the detector has recorded over 200 fb$^{-1}$ of data and aims to collect 50 ab$^{-1}$, a factor of 50 more than its predecessor. Belle II has a broad $\tau$ physics program, from high-precision measurements of Standard Model parameters to searches of new non-Standard-Model interactions. In this work, we review the status of the Belle II experiment and the prospects for the measurement of the $\tau$ lepton mass and lifetime, which are fundamental inputs in tests of LFU violation.

  Data with an integrated luminosity of about 370 pb$^{-1}$ have been collected with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 $e^+e^-$ collider. Here we present recent results on $e^+e^-$ annihilation into hadrons below 2 GeV based on a part of these data. In particular, we discuss measurements of the $e^+e^-\to \pi^+\pi^-$, $e^+e^- \to n\bar{n}$, $e^+e^- \to p\bar{p}$, and $e^+e^-\to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0\pi^0$ cross sections, and study of the processes $e^+e^-\to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$, $e^+e^-\to K^+K^-\pi^0$, $e^+e^- \to \eta\pi^0 \gamma$, and $e^+e^- \to \eta \eta \gamma$.

• Sivers extraction with Neural Network

  Psuedo-data with simulated experimental errors can be generated to train an ensemble of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) implemented on a regression to extract Transverse Momentum-dependent Distributions (TMDs). A preliminary analysis is presented on the reliability in extraction of the Sivers function imposed in the pseudo-data given the bounds on the experimental errors, data sparsity, and complexity of phase-space.

• Sivers asymmetry in inelastic $J/ψ$ leptoproduction at the EIC

  We study the Sivers asymmetry in inelastic $J/\psi$ leptoproduction, $ep^\uparrow \to e+ J/\psi+X$, within a transverse momentum dependent scheme, the so-called generalized parton model (GPM). The effects of final-state interactions are properly taken into account by employing the color-gauge invariant GPM (CGI-GPM). For the $J/\psi$ formation the non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD) framework is adopted. Predictions for unpolarized cross sections and maximized Sivers asymmetries at EIC energies are given.
