• Monte Carlo, fitting and Machine Learning for Tau leptons

  Status of tau lepton decay Monte Carlo generator TAUOLA, and its main recent applications are reviewed. It is underlined, that in recent efforts on development of new hadronic currents, the multi-dimensional nature of distributions of the experimental data must be taken with a great care. Studies for H to tau tau; tau to hadrons indeed demonstrate that multi-dimensional nature of distributions is important and available for evaluation of observables where tau leptons are used to constrain experimental data. For that part of the presentation, use of the TAUOLA program for phenomenology of H and Z decays at LHC is discussed, in particular in the context of the Higgs boson parity measurements with the use of Machine Learning techniques. Some additions, relevant for QED lepton pair emission and electroweak corrections are mentioned as well.

• Introducing the Journal of Robustness Reports

  The vast majority of empirical research articles report a single primary analysis outcome that is the result of a single analysis plan, executed by a single analysis team (usually the team that also designed the experiment and collected the data). However, recent many-analyst projects have demonstrated that different analysis teams generally adopt a unique approach and that there exists considerable variability in the associated conclusions. There appears to be no single optimal statistical analysis plan, and different plausible plans need not lead to the same conclusion. A high variability in outcomes signals that the conclusions are relatively fragile and dependent on the specifics of the analysis plan. Crucially, without multiple teams analyzing the data, it is difficult to gauge the extent to which the conclusions are robust. We have recently proposed that empirical articles of particular scientific interest or societal importance are accompanied by two or three short reports that summarize the results of alternative analyses conducted by independent experts [F. Bartoš et al., Nat. Hum. Behav. (2025)]. In order to showcase the practical feasibility and epistemic benefits of this approach we have founded the Journal of Robustness Reports, which is dedicated to publishing short reanalyses of empirical findings. This editorial describes the scope and the workflow of the Journal of Robustness Reports including the type and format of the published articles. We hope that the Journal of Robustness Reports will help make reanalyses of published findings the norm across the empirical sciences.

• Internal Levin-Wen models

  Levin--Wen models are a class of two-dimensional lattice spin models with a Hamiltonian that is a sum of commuting projectors, which describe topological phases of matter related to Drinfeld centres. We generalise this construction to lattice systems internal to a topological phase described by an arbitrary modular fusion category $\mathcal{C}$. The lattice system is defined in terms of an orbifold datum $\mathbb{A}$ in $\mathcal{C}$, from which we construct a state space and a commuting-projector Hamiltonian $H_{\mathbb{A}}$ acting on it. The topological phase of the degenerate ground states of $H_{\mathbb{A}}$ is characterised by a modular fusion category $\mathcal{C}_\mathbb{A}$ defined directly in terms of $\mathbb{A}$. By choosing different $\mathbb{A}$'s for a fixed $\mathcal{C}$, one obtains precisely all phases which are Witt-equivalent to $\mathcal{C}$. As special cases we recover the Kitaev and the Levin--Wen lattice models from instances of orbifold data in the trivial modular fusion category of vector spaces, as well as phases obtained by anyon condensation in a given phase $\mathcal{C}$.

• Master integrals contributing to two-loop leading colour QCD helicity amplitudes for top-quark pair production in the gluon fusion channel

  We discuss the analytic structure of the master integrals relevant for computing the com- plete set of leading-colour analytic helicity amplitudes for top-quark pair production via gluon fusion at two loops in QCD. This includes corrections due to massive fermion loops which give rise to integrals involving elliptic curves. We also elaborate on the structure of singularities that play an important role in the numerical evaluation of the iterated integrals and their analytic continuation.

• Interface junctions in QCD${}_4$

  We study 3+1 dimensional $SU(N)$ Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) with $N_f$ degenerate quarks that have a spatially varying complex mass. It leads to a network of interfaces connected by interface junctions. We use anomaly inflow to constrain these defects. Based on the chiral Lagrangian and the conjectures on the interfaces, characterized by a spatially varying $\theta$-parameter, we propose a low-energy description of such networks of interfaces. Interestingly, we observe that the operators in the effective field theories on the junctions can carry baryon charges, and their spin and isospin representations coincide with baryons. We also study defects, characterized by spatially varying coupling constants, in 2+1 dimensional Chern-Simons-matter theories and in a 3+1 dimensional real scalar theory.

• An investigation of the appearance of a long range nuclear potential in ultra low energy nuclear synthesis

  A new potential, the $general$ $particle$ $transfer$ $potential$: so called ``GPT'' potential was represented in the previous paper which indicates a Yukawa-type potential for shorter range, but a $1/r^n$-type potential for longer range where $n=2$ includes the Efimov-like potential in the hadron system. In order to confirm the existence of a GPT potential, we investigate the possibility of Cs+2d$\rightarrow$La reaction on the three-ion quasi-molecule CsD$_2$ which is covered by twelve Pd or a CsD$_2$Pd$_{12}$-cluster, where the three-body bound states and wave functions for D-Cs-D molecular and d-Cs-d nuclear systems are calculated. We obtain an approximate E2-transition from the molecular states to the nuclear states. The transition ratio between the short range nuclear potential with the $1/r^2$-type long range potential and without long range potential is $W_{i\rightarrow f}^{E2';L}/W_{i\rightarrow f}^{E2';S}\approx 10^8$. If the reaction Cs+2D$\rightarrow$La is experimentally observed, then the existence of the GPT potential could be confirmed.

  The aim of the Muon g − 2 Experiment at Fermilab (E989) is to measure the muon anomalous magnetic moment (aμ) with a relative precision of 140 parts- per-billion (ppb). This precision, which is a factor of four improvement from the current experimental result, will allow for a much more stringent test of the Standard Model. This paper present the current status of the experimental measurement of aμ after the first physics run.

• Lefschetz thimble-inspired weight regularizations for complex Langevin simulations

  Complex Langevin (CL) is a computational method to circumvent the numerical sign problem with applications in finite-density quantum chromodynamics and the real-time dynamics of quantum field theories. It has long been known that, depending on the simulated system, CL does not always converge correctly. In this work, we provide numerical evidence that the success or failure of the complex Langevin method is deeply tied to the Lefschetz thimble structure of the simulated system. This is demonstrated by constructing weight function regularizations that deform the thimbles of systems with compact domains. Our results indicate that CL converges correctly when the regularized system exhibits a single relevant compact thimble. We introduce a bias correction to retrieve the values of the original theory for parameter sets where a direct complex Langevin approach fails. The effectiveness of this method is illustrated using several toy models, including the cosine model and the SU(2) and SU(3) Polyakov chains. Finally, we discuss the opportunities and limitations of this regularization approach for lattice field theories.

• Dark matter as a QCD effect in an anti de Sitter geometry: Cosmogonic implications of de Sitter, anti de Sitter and Poincaré symmetries

  The $\Lambda$CDM standard model of cosmology involves two dark components of the universe, dark energy and dark matter. Whereas dark energy is usually associated with the (positive) cosmological constant $\Lambda$ associated with a de Sitter geometry, we propose to explain dark matter as a pure QCD effect, namely a gluonic Bose Einstein condensate with the status of a Cosmic Gluonic Background (CGB). This effect is due to the trace anomaly viewed as an effective negative cosmological constant determining an Anti de Sitter geometry and accompanying baryonic matter at the hadronization transition from the quark gluon plasma phase to the colorless hadronic phase. Our approach also allows to assume a ratio Dark/Visible equal to 11/2.
