• Drell-Yan $p_{\bot}$ with NLO-matched Parton Branching TMDs at energies from fixed-target to LHC

  The description of the Drell-Yan (DY) transverse momentum spectrum requires matching of fixed order QCD calculations with soft gluon resummation up to all orders in the QCD coupling. It has been noticed in the literature that a consistent description of DY data in a wide kinematic regime from fixed-target to LHC energies is problematic. In this talk the predictions for transverse momentum spectrum of DY data coming from experiments in very different kinematic ranges (NuSea, R209, Phenix, LHC 8 TeV and 13 TeV center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$) are calculated by applying transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distributions obtained from the Parton Branching (PB) method, combined with the next-to-leading-order (NLO) calculation of the hard process in the MCatNLO method. We discuss the problems involved in matching of the fixed order calculation and resummation, especially in the moderate to low mass and $p_{\bot}$ region accessible at fixed target experiments. We find that at low DY mass and low $\sqrt{s}$ even in the region of $p_{\bot}/m_{DY}\sim 1$ the contribution of multiple soft gluon emissions (included in the PB-TMDs) is essential to describe the measurements, while at larger masses and LHC energies the contribution from soft gluons in the region of $p_{\bot}/m_{DY}\sim 1$ is small.

• Azimuthal single- and double-spin asymmetries in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic lepton scattering by transversely polarized protons

  A comprehensive set of azimuthal single-spin and double-spin asymmetries in semi- inclusive leptoproduction of pions, charged kaons, protons, and antiprotons from transversely polarized protons is presented. These asymmetries include the previously published HERMES results on Collins and Sivers asymmetries, the analysis of which has been extended to include protons and antiprotons and also to an extraction in a three-dimensional kinematic binning and enlarged phase space. They are complemented by corresponding results for the remaining single-spin and double-spin asymmetries for transverse target-polarization orientation.

• Linear stability of Einstein and de Sitter universes in the quadratic theory of modified gravity

  We consider the Einstein static and the de Sitter universe solutions and examine their instabilities in a subclass of quadratic modified theories for gravity. This modification proposed by Nash is an attempt to generalize general relativity. Interestingly, we discover that the Einstein static universe is unstable in the context of the modified gravity. In contrast to Einstein static universe, the de Sitter universe remains stable under metric perturbation up to the second order.

• Recent Highlights on Higgs Physics from the LHC

  Many of the Higgs boson production and decay channels, predicted by the StandardModel, have been observed since its 2012 discovery. Today, measurements of the Higgsboson’s properties in these channels deepen our understanding of the nature of thisfundamental particle by providing better information about its mass, production kine-matics, and CP structure. Increasing precision also enables targeting rare Higgs bosondecay modes and probing di-Higgs-boson production. In addition, searches for beyondStandard Model physics in the Higgs sector are performed. This article presents the lat-est Higgs boson measurement highlights from the ATLAS and CMS collaborations usingLHC proton-proton collision data at a centre of mass energy of 13 TeV.

• PMC$_\infty$: Infinite-Order Scale-Setting method using the Principle of Maximum Conformality and preserving the Intrinsic Conformality

  We show results for Thrust and C-parameter in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation to 3 jets obtained using the recently developed new method for eliminating the scale ambiguity and the scheme dependence in pQCD namely the Infinite-Order Scale-Setting method using the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC$_\infty$). This method preserves an important underlying property of gauge theories: intrinsic Conformality (iCF). It leads to a remarkably efficient method to eliminate the conventional renormalization scale ambiguity at any order in pQCD. A comparison with Conventional Scale Setting method (CSS) is also shown.

• Two-Loop renormalization of High-Dimensional QCD operators and Higgs EFT amplitudes

  We consider two-loop renormalization of high-dimensional operators in QCD and the relevant Higgs EFT amplitudes. Efficient unitarity-IBP strategy is used to compute the two-loop minimal form factors of length-3 operators up to dimension sixteen. From the ultraviolet divergences of form factor results, we extract the renormalization matrices and compute anomalous dimensions. We also obtain the analytic finite remainder functions which exhibit several universal transcendentality structures. The form factors we compute are equivalent to Higgs plus three-gluon amplitudes that capture high-order top mass corrections in Higgs effective field theory.

• Top quark mass corrections to single and double Higgs boson production in gluon fusion

  In this talk we discuss recent computations of the top quark mass dependence of QCD amplitudes describing Higgs boson production in gluon fusion. We compute terms in the expansion for a large top quark mass, which reduces the Feynman diagrams to products of massless integrals and massive tadpole integrals which contain the top mass dependence. In particular we discuss the real and virtual corrections to double Higgs production at NNLO, and the virtual corrections to single Higgs production at N3LO.

• Effect of isospin averaging for $ppK^-$ kaonic cluster

  The kaonic cluster $ppK^-$ is described by isospin-dependent $N{\bar K}$ potentials with significant difference between singlet and triplet components. The quasi-bound state energy of the system is calculated based on the configuration space Faddeev equations within isospin and averaged potential models. The isospin averaging of $ N{\bar K} $ potentials is used to simplify the isospin model to isospinless one. We show that three-body bound state energy $E_{3}$ has a lower bound within the isospin formalism due to relation $\left\vert E_{3}(V_{NN}=0)\right\vert<2\left\vert E_{2}\right\vert$, where $E_{2}$ is the binding energy of isospin singlet state of the $N{\bar K}$ subsystem. The averaged potential model demonstrates opposite relation between $|E_{2}|$ and $|E_{3}(V_{NN}=0)|$.

• New developments in KKMChh: Quark-level exponentiated radiative corrections and semi-analytical results

  We describe a new semi-analytical program, KKhhFoam, which provides a simplified framework for testing the amplitude-level exponentiation scheme (CEEX) of the full KKMChh program in the semi-soft limit. The structure of the KKhhFoam integrand is also helpful for elucidating the structure of CEEX. We also discuss the representation of ISR in KKMChh and compare the ISR added by KKMChh to the effect of switching to a QED-corrected PDF, at the individual quark level, and suggest a new approach to running KKMChh with QED-corrected PDFs.

• Properties of heavy mesons at finite temperature

  We study the properties of heavy mesons using a unitarized approach in a hot pionic medium, based on an effective hadronic theory. The interaction between the heavy mesons and pseudoscalar Goldstone bosons is described by a chiral Lagrangian at next-to-leading order in the chiral expansion and leading order in the heavy-quark mass expansion so as to satisfy heavy-quark spin symmetry. The meson-meson scattering problem in coupled channels with finite-temperature corrections is solved in a self-consistent manner. Our results show that the masses of the ground-state charmed mesons $D(0^-)$ and $D_s(1^-)$ decrease in a pionic environment at $T\neq 0$ and they acquire a substantial width. As a consequence, the behaviour of excited mesonic states (i.e. $D_{s0}^*(2317)^\pm$ and $D_0^*(2300)^{0,\pm}$), generated dynamically in our heavy-light molecular model, is also modified at $T\neq 0$. The aim is to test our results against Lattice QCD calculations in the future.
