• Classical weight-four L-value ratios as sums of Calabi-Yau invariants

  We revisit the series solutions of the attractor equations of 4d $\mathcal{N}=2$ supergravities obtained by Calabi–Yau compactifications previously studied in [P. Candelas et al., J. High Energy Phys. 11, 032 (2021)]. While only convergent for a restricted set of black hole charges, we find that they are summable with Padé resummation providing a suitable method. By specialising these solutions to rank-two attractors, we obtain many conjectural identities of the type discovered in [P. Candelas et al., J. High Energy Phys. 11, 032 (2021)]. These equate ratios of weight-four special L-values with an infinite series whose summands are formed out of genus-0 Gromov–Witten invariants. We also present two new rank-two attractors which belong to moduli spaces each interesting in their own right. Each of these moduli spaces possess two points of maximal unipotent monodromy. One has already been studied by Hosono and Takagi, and we discuss issues stemming from the associated L-function having nonzero rank.

• Spin degrees of freedom incorporated in conformal group: Introduction of an intrinsic momentum operator

  Considering spin degrees of freedom incorporated in the conformal generators, we introduce an intrinsic momentum operator $\pi_\mu$, which is feasible for the Bhabha wave equation. If a physical state $\psi_{ph}$ for spin s is annihilated by the $\pi_\mu$, the degree of $\psi_{ph}$, deg $\psi_{ph}$, should equal twice the spin degrees of freedom, $2 ( 2 s + 1)$ for a massive particle, where the multiplicity $2$ indicates the chirality. The relation deg $\psi_{ph}$ = 2(2s+1) holds in the representation $R_5$ (s,s), irreducible representation of the Lorentz group in five dimensions.

• Loop equations for generalised eigenvalue models

  We derive the loop equation for the 1-matrix model with generic difference-type measure for eigenvalues and develop a recursive algebraic framework for solving it to an arbitrary order in the coupling constant in and beyond the planar approximation. The planar limit is solved exactly for a one-parametric family of models and in the general case at strong coupling. The Wilson loop in the $\mathcal{N}=2^*$ super-Yang-Mills theory and the Hoppe model are used to illustrate our methods.

• SO(1,3) Yang-Mills solutions on Minkowski space via cosets

  We present a novel family of Yang-Mills solutions, with gauge group SO(1,3), on Minkowski space that are geometrically distinguished into two classes, viz. interior and exterior of the lightcone. We achieve this by foliating the former with SO(1,3)/SO(3) cosets and the latter with SO(1,3)/SO(1,2) cosets and analytically solving the Yang-Mills equation of an SO(1,3)-invariant gauge field. The resulting fields and their stress-energy tensor, when translated to the Minkowski space, diverge at the lightcone, but we demonstrate how this stress-energy tensor could be regularised due to its unique algebraic structure.

• Construction of matryoshka nested indecomposable N-replications of Kac-modules of quasi-reductive Lie superalgebras, including the sl(m/n) and osp(2/2n) series

  We construct a new class of finite dimensional indecomposable representations of simple superalgebras which may explain, in a natural way, the existence of the heavier elementary particles. In type I Lie superalgebras sl(m/n) and osp(2/2n), one of the Dynkin weights labeling the finite dimensional irreducible representations is continuous. Taking the derivative, we show how to construct indecomposable representations recursively embedding N copies of the original irreducible representation, coupled by generalized Cabibbo angles, as observed among the three generations of leptons and quarks of the standard model. The construction is then generalized in the appendix to quasi-reductive Lie superalgebras.

• Group invariants for Feynman diagrams

  It is well-known that the symmetry group of a Feynman diagram can give important information on possible strategies for its evaluation, and the mathematical objects that will be involved. Motivated by ongoing work on multi-loop multi-photon amplitudes in quantum electrodynamics, here I will discuss the usefulness of introducing a polynomial basis of invariants of the symmetry group of a diagram in Feynman-Schwinger parameter space.

• Exact solution for two $\delta$-interacting bosons on a ring in the presence of a $\delta$-barrier: Asymmetric Bethe Ansatz for spatially odd states

  In this article, we apply the recently proposed Asymmetric Bethe Ansatz method to the problem of two one-dimensional, short-range-interacting bosons on a ring in the presence of a $\delta$-function barrier. Only half of the Hilbert space—namely, the two-body states that are odd under point inversion about the position of the barrier—is accessible to this method. The other half is presumably non-integrable. We consider benchmarking the recently proposed $1/g$ expansion about the hard-core boson point [D. Sen, Int. J. Mod. Phys. A 14, 1789 (1999); A. G. Volosniev et al., Nat. Commun. 5, 5300 (2014)] as one application of our results. Additionally, we find that when the $\delta$-barrier is converted to a $\delta$-well with strength equal to that of the particle-particle interaction, the system exhibits the spectrum of its non-interacting counterpart while its eigenstates display features of a strongly interacting system. We discuss this phenomenon in the "Summary and Future Research" section of our paper.

• Rademacher expansion of modular integrals

  We develop a method to evaluate integrals of non-holomorphic modular functions over the fundamental domain of the torus with modular parameter $\tau$ analytically. It proceeds in two steps: first the integral is transformed to a Lorentzian contour by the same strategy that leads to the Lorentzian inversion formula in CFT, and then we apply a two-dimensional version of the Rademacher expansion. This computes the integral in terms of an expansion sensitive to the singular behaviour of the integrand near all the Lorentzian cusps $\tau \to i ∞$, $\bar{\tau} \to x ∈ \mathbb{Q}$. We apply this technique to a variety of examples such as the evaluation of string one-loop partition functions, where it leads to the first analytic formula for the cosmological constants of the bosonic string and the $\mathrm{SO}(16) × \mathrm{SO}(16)$ string.

• Study of entanglement in symmetric multi-quDits systems through information diagrams

  Along this paper, we analyze the entanglement properties of symmetric multi-quDits systems in a special type of states created from the generalization to U(D) of the usual spin coherent states. By means of parity operators, we define what we call multicomponent Schrödinger cat states as parity adapted coherent states. Introducing the tool of information diagrams, i.e. representations of pairs of entropy measures, we analyze the correlation structure of this type of states and their M-wise reduced density matrices.

• Newton mechanics, Galilean relativity, and special relativity in $\alpha$-deformed binary operation setting

  We define new velocity and acceleration having dimension of $(Length)^{\alpha}/(Time)$ and $(Length)^{\alpha}/(Time)^2,$ respectively, based on the fractional addition rule. We discuss the formulation of fractional Newton mechanics, Galilean relativity and special relativity in the same setting. We show the conservation of the fractional energy, characterize the Lorentz transformation and group, and derive the expressions of the energy and momentum. The two body decay is discussed as a concrete illustration.
