  We use a correlation matrix of two-nucleon (2N) potential parameters to investigate correlations among three-nucleon (3N) observables for the elastic nucleon-deuteron (Nd) scattering process. We employ the up-to-date 2N semilocal momentum-space regularized chiral interactions and the phenomenological OPE-Gaussian potential and using the Faddeev formalism we calculate 3N observables and their correlations. As an example, we present the correlation between the differential cross section and the deuteron analyzing power T20.

  The Algorithms for Lattice Fermions package provides a general code for the finite-temperature and projective auxiliary-field quantum Monte Carlo algorithm. The code is engineered to be able to simulate any model that can be written in terms of sums of single-body operators, of squares of single-body operators and single-body operators coupled to a bosonic field with given dynamics. The package includes five pre-defined model classes: SU(N) Kondo, SU(N) Hubbard, SU(N) t-V and SU(N) models with long range Coulomb repulsion on honeycomb, square and N-leg lattices, as well as $Z_2$ unconstrained lattice gauge theories coupled to fermionic and $Z_2$ matter. An implementation of the stochastic Maximum Entropy method is also provided. One can download the code from our Git instance at https://git.physik.uni-wuerzburg.de/ALF/ALF/-/tree/ALF-2.4 and sign in to file issues.

• The $D_{03}(2380)$ dibaryon resonance excitation in the $pd\to pd\pi\pi$ reaction.

  The recent ANKE@COSY data on the differential cross section of reaction $pd \to pd\pi\pi$ demonstrate a peak at invariant mass of the final $d\pi\pi$ system $2.38~GeV$, that corresponds to the isocalar $J^P = 3^+$ dibaryon $D_{03}$, and also enhancement in the distribution over the invariant mass of two final pions. The two-resonance model involving the $t$-channel $\sigma$-meson exchange between the proton and deuteron in the subprocess $pd\to pD_{03}$ and the sequential decays $D_{03}\to D_{12}+\pi$ and $D_{12}\to d +\pi$ was applied to describe the shapes of these distributions with the lowest orbital angular momenta in the corresponding vertices. A possible role of higher orbital momenta in those vertices is studied here.

• Pion GPDs: Constraints, modelling and experimental access

  The study of Generalised Parton Distributions is a hot-topic in hadron physics. Due to its connection with chiral symmetry breaking, assessing those of pions is of great interest. For this reason, we present a novel model-building strategy for pion GPDs capable of fulfilling all of the theoretical constraints required by QCD: support, polynomiality, positivity and soft-pion theorem. The methodology is illustrated with a simple model, and exploited afterwards for the calculation of pions' deeply virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) Compton Form Factors (CFFs) at NLO. The results show gluon-content to play the dominant role in pions' response to DVCS at EIC kinematics.

• PERLE - ERL Test Facility at Orsay

  PERLE (Powerful ERL for Experiments) is a novel Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) test facility, designed to validate choices for a 50 GeV ERL foreseen in the design of the Large Hadron Electron Collider (LHeC) and the Future Circular Collider (FCC-eh), and to host dedicated nuclear and particle physics experiments. Its main thrust is to probe high current, continuous wave (CW), multi-pass operation with superconducting cavities at 802 MHz. With very high transient beam power (10 MW), PERLE offers an opportunity for controllable study of every beam dynamic effect of interest in the next generation of ERL design and becomes a ‘stepping stone’ between present state-of-art 1 MW ERLs and future 100 MW scale applications.

• NLO electroweak and QCD corrections to off-shell ttW production at the LHC

  The foreseen luminosities for the next LHC runs will enable precise differential measurements of the associated production of top-antitop pairs with a W boson. Therefore, providing accurate theory predictions for this process is needed for realistic final states. We present the first combination of NLO electroweak and QCD corrections to off-shell ttW$^+$ production in the three-charged-lepton channel, including non-resonant effects, full spin-correlations and interferences. Such radiative corrections comprise the electroweak and QCD corrections to the leading QCD order, and the QCD corrections to the leading electroweak order.

• Disentangling sub-GeV dark matter from the diffuse supernova neutrino background using Hyper-Kamiokande

  The upcoming Hyper-Kamiokande (HyperK) experiment is expected to detect the Diffuse Supernova Neutrino Background (DSNB). This requires to ponder all possible sources of background. Sub-GeV dark matter (DM) which annihilates into neutrinos is a potential background that has not been considered so far. We simulate DSNB and DM signals, as well as backgrounds in the HyperK detector. We find that DM-induced neutrinos could indeed alter the extraction of the correct values of the parameters of interest for DSNB physics. Since the DSNB is an isotropic signal, and DM originates primarily from the Galactic centre, we show that this effect could be alleviated with an on-off analysis.

  Deep generative models complement Markov-chain-Monte-Carlo methods for efficiently sampling from high-dimensional distributions. Among these methods, explicit generators, such as Normalising Flows (NFs), in combination with the Metropolis Hastings algorithm have been extensively applied to get unbiased samples from target distributions. We systematically study central problems in conditional NFs, such as high variance, mode collapse and data efficiency. We propose adversarial training for NFs to ameliorate these problems. Experiments are conducted with low-dimensional synthetic datasets and XY spin models in two spatial dimensions.

• Algebraic structure of classical integrability for complex sine-Gordon

  The algebraic structure underlying the classical $r$-matrix formulation of the complex sine-Gordon model is fully elucidated. It is characterized by two matrices $a$ and $s$, components of the $r$ matrix as $r=a-s$. They obey a modified classical reflection/Yang--Baxter set of equations, further deformed by non-abelian dynamical shift terms along the dual Lie algebra $su(2)^*$. The sign shift pattern of this deformation has the signature of the twisted boundary dynamical algebra. Issues related to the quantization of this algebraic structure and the formulation of quantum complex sine-Gordon on those lines are introduced and discussed.
