Reweighting the quark Sivers function with STAR jet data

The Bayesian reweighting procedure is applied for the first time to a TMD distribution, the quark Sivers function extracted from SIDIS data. By exploiting the recent published single spin asymmetry data for the inclusive jet production in $p^\uparrow p$ collisions from the STAR collaboration at RHIC, we show how such a procedure allows to incorporate the information contained in the new data set, without the need of re-fitting, and to explore a much wider $x$ region compared to SIDIS measurements. The reweighting method is also extended to the case of asymmetric errors, and the results show a significant improvement on the knowledge of the quark Sivers function.
The tower of Kontsevich deformations for Nambu-Poisson structures on $\mathbb{R}^d$: Dimension-specific micro-graph calculus

In Kontsevich's graph calculus, internal vertices of directed graphs are inhabited by multi - vectors, e.g., Poisson bi - vectors; the Nambu - determinant Poisson brackets are differential - polynomial in the Casimir(s) and density $\varrho$ times Levi - Civita symbol. We resolve the old vertices into subgraphs such that every new internal vertex contains one Casimir or one Levi - Civita symbol×$\varrho$. Using this micro - graph calculus, we show that Kontsevich's tetrahedral $\gamma_3$-flow on the space of Nambu - determinant Poisson brackets over $\mathbb{R}^3$ is a Poisson coboundary: we realize the trivializing vector field $\vec{X}$ over $\mathbb{R}^3$ using micro - graphs. This $\vec{X}$ projects to the known trivializing vector field for the $\gamma_3$-flow over $\mathbb{R}^2$.
GRAND: A Giant Radio Array for Neutrino Detection

GRAND will be a distributed set of about 20 arrays of radio antennas, totalling 200,000 km2. We aim to study the ultra high energy universe through the detection of neutrinos, photons and cosmic rays at energies at the EeV scale. In addition GRAND will be used to study astronomical objects like FRBs and GRBs. We will describe the physics motivation, the detection strategy, the first stages of GRAND and the path to creating the complete setup.
Anomalous coupling studies with forward protons at the LHC

We describe the gain on sensitivities to quartic $\gamma \gamma \gamma \gamma$, $\gamma \gamma WW$ and $\gamma \gamma \gamma Z$ anomalous couplings and to the search for Axion-Like Particles by two or three orders of magnitude with respect to standard methods at the LHC by tagging intact protons in the final state.
Search for lepton-flavour-violating decays of the $Z$ boson into a $\tau$-lepton and a light lepton with the ATLAS detector

Lepton flavour violation in the charged lepton sector is an unambiguous signal of physics beyond the Standard Model. Searches for lepton flavour violation in decays of the $Z$ boson with the ATLAS detector is reported, focusing on decays into an electron or muon and a hadronically decaying $\tau$-lepton, using $pp$ collisions data with a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. Upper limits on the branching ratios of lepton-flavor-violating decays are set at the 95\% confidence level: $\mathcal{B}(Z\to e\tau) < 5.8\times10^{-5}$ and $\mathcal{B}(Z\to \mu\tau) < 2.4\times10^{-5}$. When combined with a previous ATLAS result based on $pp$ collisions data with a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV, an upper limit of $\mathcal{B}(Z\to \mu\tau) < 1.3\times10^{-5}$ is obtained.
Prospects for Higgs and di-Higgs measurements at the ATLAS experiment

The large dataset of about 3000 $\rm{fb}^{-1}$ that will be collected at the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) will be used to measure Higgs boson processes in detail. This large dataset will also provide sensitivity to di-Higgs processes and will allow for the improvement of the constraints on the Higgs boson self coupling. Studies based on current ATLAS analyses using LHC Run 2 data have been carried out to understand the expected precision and limitations of the Higgs and di-Higgs measurements at the HL-LHC. This paper presents the ATLAS prospects for Higgs and di-Higgs results at the HL-LHC.
Central exclusive production of $\eta_c$ and $\chi_{c0}$ in the light-front k$_{\perp}$-factorization approach

We study the exclusive production of $J^{PC}=0^{++}, 0^{--}$ charmonium states in proton-proton collisions at the LHC energies. The amplitudes for $g^*g^*→\chi_{c0}$ as well as for$ gg→\eta_c$ mechanisms are derived in the kT-factorization approach. The $pp \to pp\eta_c$ reaction is discussed for the first time. We observe a substantial contribution from the nonperturbative domain of gluon virtualities, especially for $\eta_c$ production. To model the nonperturbative region better, we utilize models of the unintegrated gluon distribution based on parametrizations of the color dipole cross-section.
Hilbert space structure and classical limit of the low energy sector of U(N) quantum Hall ferromagnets

Using the Lieb–Mattis ordering theorem of electronic energy levels, we identify and construct the Hilbert space of the low energy sector of U(N) quantum Hall/Heisenberg ferromagnets at filling factor M for L Landau/lattice sites. The carrier Hilbert space of irreducible representations of U(N) is described by rectangular Young tableaux of M rows and L columns, and associated with Grassmannian phase spaces U(N)/U(M)×U(N-M). Replacing U(N)-spin operators by their expectation values in a Grassmannian coherent state allows for a semi-classical treatment of the low energy U(N)-spin-wave coherent excitations (skyrmions) of U(N) quantum Hall ferromagnets in terms of Grasmannian nonlinear sigma models.
Probing proton PDFs at high x with LHCb

LHCb is a forward spectrometer at the LHC covering the pseudorapidity region 2<$\eta$<5. Because of this forward coverage, LHCb can probe the proton parton distribution functions (PDFs) in previously unexplored kinematic regimes, in particular at very high and low Bjorken-x. This contribution presents LHCb measurements that can be used to constrain the proton PDFs, with a focus on the high-x and high-$Q^2$ regime.
Charmonium and bottomonium spectroscopy at Belle II

The Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB energy-asymmetric e+e− collider is an upgrade of the B factory facility at KEK in Tsukuba, Japan. The experiment began operation in 2019 and aims to record a factor of 50 times more data than its predecessor. Belle II is uniquely capable of studying the so-called "XYZ" particles: heavy exotic hadrons consisting of more than three quarks. First discovered by Belle, these now number in the dozens, and represent the emergence of a new category within quantum chromodynamics. We present recent results obtained from Belle II data, and the future prospects to explore both exotic and conventional quarkonium physics.
