• $τ$ lepton mass measurement at BESIII

  In order to obtain the mass of $\tau$ lepton at BESIII precisely, a beam energy measurement system was built at BEPCII. A scenario for high precision $\tau$ mass measurement was put forth before data taken. More than 130 $pb^{-1}$ $\tau$ mass scan data were collected in April 2018, and the uncertainty of $m_{\tau}$ is expected to be less than 100 keV.

• Covariant canonical formulations of classical field theories

  We review in simple terms the covariant approaches to the canonical formulation of classical relativistic field theories (in particular gauge field theories and general relativity) and we discuss the relationships between these approaches as well as the relation with the standard (non-covariant) Hamiltonian formulation. Particular attention is paid to conservation laws (notably related to geometric symmetries) within the different approaches. Moreover, for each of these approaches, the impact of space-time boundaries is also addressed. To make the text accessible to a wider audience, we have included an outline of Poisson and symplectic geometry for both classical mechanics and field theory.

• Non-equilibrium dynamics of dipolar polarons

  We study the out-of-equilibrium quantum dynamics of dipolar polarons, i.e., impurities immersed in a dipolar Bose-Einstein condensate, after a quench of the impurity-boson interaction. We show that the dipolar nature of the condensate and of the impurity results in anisotropic relaxation dynamics, in particular, anisotropic dressing of the polaron. More relevantly for cold-atom setups, quench dynamics is strongly affected by the interplay between dipolar anisotropy and trap geometry. Our findings pave the way for simulating impurities in anisotropic media utilizing experiments with dipolar mixtures.

• Classification of Convergent OPE Channels for Lorentzian CFT Four-Point Functions

  We analyze the convergence properties of operator product expansions (OPE) for Lorentzian CFT four-point functions of scalar operators. We give a complete classification of Lorentzian four-point configurations. All configurations in each class have the same OPE convergence properties in s-, t- and u-channels. We give tables including the information of OPE convergence for all classes. Our work justifies that in a subset of the configuration space, Lorentzian CFT four-point functions are genuine analytic functions. Our results are valid for unitary CFTs in $d\geq2$. Our work also provides some Lorentzian regions where one can do bootstrap analysis in the sense of functions.

• Central exclusive production of $\eta_c$ and $\chi_{c0}$ in the light-front k$_{\perp}$-factorization approach

  We study the exclusive production of $J^{PC}=0^{++}, 0^{--}$ charmonium states in proton-proton collisions at the LHC energies. The amplitudes for $g^*g^*→\chi_{c0}$ as well as for$ gg→\eta_c$ mechanisms are derived in the kT-factorization approach. The $pp \to pp\eta_c$ reaction is discussed for the first time. We observe a substantial contribution from the nonperturbative domain of gluon virtualities, especially for $\eta_c$ production. To model the nonperturbative region better, we utilize models of the unintegrated gluon distribution based on parametrizations of the color dipole cross-section.

  For several decades there has been an interest in studying neutrino scattering on light nuclei, with the hope of increasing knowledge about the theory of weak interactions and electroweak unification. A study of several neutrino induced reactions on light nuclei ($^2$H, $^3$H and $^3$He) is presented here. The cross section for these reactions is evaluated using the nuclear response functions, which holds the information about the nuclear interactions and structure. This approach has been tested for break-up reactions on the deuteron before and is now extended to three-nucleon break-up reactions.

• The ALPACA experiment: The project of the first sub-PeV gamma-ray observation in the southern sky

  The ALPACA experiment is a project aiming to observe sub-PeV gamma rays for the first time in the southern hemisphere. The main goal of ALPACA is to identify PeVatrons, the accelerators of Galactic PeV cosmic rays, by observing sub-PeV pion-decay gamma rays generated in interactions between PeV cosmic rays and the interstellar medium. This new air shower experiment is located at an altitude of 4,740 m above sea level in the middle of Mt. Chacaltaya in Bolivia. The air shower array consists of 401 scintillation counters covering an 83,000 m$^2$ surface area. In addition, a water-Cherenkov-type muon detector array with an area of 3,700 m$^2$ is installed to discriminate gamma rays from background cosmic rays. The prototype array ALPAQUITA will start data taking in 2022 and will extend to ALPACA in 2024. We report on a general introduction to ALPACA, the progress of the project, and the sensitivity to sub-PeV gamma rays.

• ISAI: Investigating Solar Axion by Iron-57

  The existence of the axion is a unique solution for the strong CP problem, and the axion is one of the most promising candidates of the dark matter. Investigating Solar Axion by Iron-57 (ISAI) is being prepared as a complemented table-top experiment to confirm the solar axion scenario. Probing an X-ray emission from the nuclear transitions associated with the axion-nucleon coupling is a leading approach. ISAI searches for the monochromatic 14.4 keV X-ray from the first excited state of $^{57}$Fe using a state-of-the-art pixelized silicon detector, dubbed XRPIX, under an extremely low-background environment. We highlight scientific objectives, experimental design and the latest status of ISAI.

• SO(1,3) Yang-Mills solutions on Minkowski space via cosets

  We present a novel family of Yang-Mills solutions, with gauge group SO(1,3), on Minkowski space that are geometrically distinguished into two classes, viz. interior and exterior of the lightcone. We achieve this by foliating the former with SO(1,3)/SO(3) cosets and the latter with SO(1,3)/SO(1,2) cosets and analytically solving the Yang-Mills equation of an SO(1,3)-invariant gauge field. The resulting fields and their stress-energy tensor, when translated to the Minkowski space, diverge at the lightcone, but we demonstrate how this stress-energy tensor could be regularised due to its unique algebraic structure.

• The low-energy spectrum in DAMIC at SNOLAB

  The DAMIC experiment employs large-area, thick charge-coupled devices (CCDs) to search for the interactions of low-mass dark matter particles in the galactic halo with silicon atoms in the CCD target. From 2017 to 2019, DAMIC collected data with a seven-CCD array (40-gram target) installed in the SNOLAB underground laboratory. We report dark-matter search results, including a conspicuous excess of events above the background model below 200$V_{ee}$, whose origin remains unknown. We present details of the published spectral analysis, and update on the deployment of skipper CCDs to perform a more precise measurement by early 2023.
