• Phenomenological study on correlation between flow harmonics and mean transverse momentum in nuclear collisions

  To assess the properties of the quark-gluon plasma formed in nuclear collisions, the Pearson correlation coefficient between flow harmonics and mean transverse momentum, $\rho\left(v_{n}^{2},\left[p_{\mathrm{T}}\right]\right)$, reflecting the overlapped geometry of colliding atomic nuclei, is measured. $\rho\left(v_{2}^{2},\left[p_{\mathrm{T}}\right]\right)$ was found to be particularly sensitive to the quadrupole deformation of the nuclei. We study the influence of the nuclear quadrupole deformation on $\rho\left(v_{n}^{2},\left[p_{\mathrm{T}}\right]\right)$ in $\rm{Au+Au}$ and $\rm{U+U}$ collisions at RHIC energy using $\rm{AMPT}$ transport model, and show that the $\rho\left(v_{2}^{2},\left[p_{\mathrm{T}}\right]\right)$ is reduced by the prolate deformation $\beta_2$ and turns to change sign in ultra-central collisions (UCC).

• Light meson decays at BESIII

  The world’s largest sample of J/psi events accumulated at the BESIII detector offers a unique opportunity to investigate eta and eta' physics via two body J/psi radiative or hadronic decays. In recent years the BESIII experiment has made significant progresses in eta/eta' decays. A selection of recent highlights in light meson spectroscopy at BESIII are reviewed in this report, including the observation of eta'->pi+pi-mu+mu-, the study of eta'->pi+pi-e+e-, and search for CP-violation in this decay, search for the rare decays of eta'->4pi0 and eta'->gamma gamma eta, as well as the precision measurement of the branching fraction of eta' decays.

• Spin degrees of freedom incorporated in conformal group: Introduction of an intrinsic momentum operator

  Considering spin degrees of freedom incorporated in the conformal generators, we introduce an intrinsic momentum operator $\pi_\mu$, which is feasible for the Bhabha wave equation. If a physical state $\psi_{ph}$ for spin s is annihilated by the $\pi_\mu$, the degree of $\psi_{ph}$, deg $\psi_{ph}$, should equal twice the spin degrees of freedom, $2 ( 2 s + 1)$ for a massive particle, where the multiplicity $2$ indicates the chirality. The relation deg $\psi_{ph}$ = 2(2s+1) holds in the representation $R_5$ (s,s), irreducible representation of the Lorentz group in five dimensions.

  We have scrutinized the transverse momentum dependent quark-gluon-quark correlation function. We have utilized the light-front quark-diquark model to study the time-reversal-odd interaction-dependent twist-3 gluon distributions which we have obtained from the disintegration of the transverse momentum dependent quark-gluon-quark correlator. Specifically, we have studied the behavior of $\tilde{e}_{L}$ and $\tilde{e}_{T}$ while considering our diquark to be an axial-vector.

• Diffractive dissociation in future electron-ion colliders

  We study diffractive scattering cross sections, focusing on the rapidity gap distribution in realistic kinematics at future electron-ion colliders. Our study consists in numerical solutions of the QCD evolution equations in both fixed and running coupling frameworks. The fixed and the running coupling equations are shown to lead to different shapes for the rapidity gap distribution. The obtained distribution when the coupling is fixed exhibits a shape characteristic of a recently developed model for diffractive dissociation, which indicates the relevance of the study of that diffractive observable for the partonic-level understanding of diffraction.

• Recent results from reactor antineutrino experiments

  The smallest neutrino mixing angle $\theta_{13}$ has been successfully measured by the disappearance of reactor antineutrinos at RENO, Daya Bay, and Double Chooz. The oscillation frequency is also measured based on energy and baseline dependent disappearance probability of reactor antineutrinos. Recent results fi nd a variation in the observed reactor antineutrino flux as a function of the reactor fuel evolution. We report more precisely measured values of $\theta_{13}$ and $\Delta m^2_{ee}$ and results on the evolution of observed reactor antineutrino yield and spectrum.

• Gluon saturation in proton and its contribution to single inclusive soft gluon production in high energy proton-nucleus collisions

  The leading order single inclusive soft gluon production in high energy proton-nucleus (pA) collisions has been studied by various approaches for more than two decades. The first correction due to the gluon saturation in proton was analytically attempted recently through a diagrammatic approach in which only partial results were obtained. An important feature of the first saturation correction is that it includes both initial state and final state interactions. In this paper, we present the complete result derived from the Color Glass Condensate framework. Our approach is to analytically solve the classical Yang-Mills equations in the dilute-dense regime and then use the Lehmann-Symanzik-Zimmermann (LSZ) reduction formula to obtain gluon production from classical gluon fields.

• Development of the ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter Readout Electronics for the HL-LHC

  The full ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter electronic readout chain will be upgraded for the high-luminosity LHC. The upgrade is designed to withstand the expected radiation level and to be compatible with the Phase-I Digital Trigger System which is being installed right now. Analogue electronics shape and amplify the calorimeter signals before they are digitized with 16 bit dynamic range on two gain scales. The on-detector system samples the calorimeter cell signals at 40 MHz and sends them to the off-detector electronics which apply digital processing based on FPGAs.   Since its discovery in 2012, the Higgs boson has served as an important probe for precision measurements of the Standard Model and for searches for new physics beyond the Standard Model. One major goal of the LHC is the precise measurement of the Higgs Yukawa couplings to fermions. The latest ATLAS results of measurements of the Higgs boson decaying to leptons are presented, namely the cross-section measurement of the Higgs boson decay to two tau leptons and the searches for the di-muon decay and lepton-flavour-violating decays of the Higgs boson.
